Serra do Açor Schist House

Nestled in a schist village, a house with all the amenities and very welcoming. What you'll hear around here is just the stream that passes by the house and the chirping of the birds. Close to the various river beaches. The terrace has a barbecue and Jacuzzi with heated water, exclusive to the house. Fireplace in the living room. Washing machine, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, thermo accumulator, towel warmer... 30 minutes from Piódão and 1h30m from Serra da Estrela.

Com dois quartos, com cozinha equipada, sala de estar com lareira e uma casa de banho, ideal para 4 pessoas, mas com capacidade para 6. A luz clara e límpida é a principal hóspede. Casa de Xisto (exterior) e madeira (interior). A casa está no topo da aldeia, entre a casa do “Povo” e a poucos passos da piscina da aldeia que tem uma vista de “cortar a respiração”, a 3 minutos da fonte Velha, onde pode saciar a sua sede.

It is an ideal place for solo adventures, couples and families (with kids). My place is close to the village of Pampilhosa da Serra at 6.8 Km , with fluvial beach blue flag. Easy access.

Our stay at this amazing house/home in Portugal was truly perfect! Everything you could ask for was here. The Villa is stunning, designed down to the last detail, and fully equipped with everything you need. The view from every window of the house is breathtaking, overlooking the 500 shades of green . The location offers easy access to beautiful hiking trails and natural spots. Michelle the host were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available whenever we needed anything. The guest rooms are super comfortable, and the living rooms are luxurious. We loved it ❤️

A peaceful stay in a quaint and cozy place. Joana was prompt to come out and greet us exactly where the directions had indicated and to show us to the property. She showed us around and offered help with starting the fire. When I contacted her later, she was also very prompt, helpful, and informative. The casa and the village are very picturesque and peaceful. It brought us back to a time in the past when there was more time to reflect and just be. A lovely retreat.

a great accommodation. we spent a week at 7 in it with children without the slightest difficulty. in addition to activities on site and especially the little one even the great plus of this stay, it is the owners. extraordinary people and care . Don't hesitate. frankly you will love

A very nice place that serves as a "base camp" to go north to visit Coimbra or to the south see Tomar and other places nearby. Not to mention the Zezere valley which is sumptuous or the small villages around that are to be seen. The cottage is very nice, nestled at the end of a valley with a superb pool in a very well maintained garden with relaxation areas that allow you to fully enjoy. The house in which we were staying is made of old stones that are very thick and if you take care to close the shutters during the day, it is almost cool that the sun gives to full outside. Tastefully personalized decor by the owners, in relation to the type of house, good level amenities. This is a place we happily spent 6 days. Recommended for anyone who wants to visit inside Portugal and shine in the area then rest at the end of the day while fully enjoying the pool!
