우리 나비텃밭농원(숙소는 사진 오른쪽 빨간 지붕주택, 사진 왼쪽은 소형 관리주택)은 나비축제로 널리 알려진 함평군에 자리하고 있습니다. 돌머리 해수욕장이 바로 건너 편에 바라다 보이고, 약찜 해수탕으로도 유명한 함평 해수찜은 1킬로미터 인근에 있습니다. 우리 농원에서는 천연 갯벌 바닷가가 바로 내려다 보이고, 갯벌체험도 직접 할 수가 있으며, 주택 잔디밭에서도 서해안의 아름다운 낙조를 감상할 수 있습니다. 또한 인근이 모두 황토밭이라서 주택 자체가 약 50년 전에 황토 흙벽돌로 지어진 옛 흙 집으로, 최근에 벽체 하단을 편백(히노끼)나무로 시공하여 황토와 편백이 어우러진 힐링주택입니다. 오래된 흙 집이라서 콘도 등 현대식 건물에 비하면 불편한 점도 있으리라 사료 됩니다. 하지만 자연친화적 숙소인 점을 감안한다면, 하루밤의 숙박으로도 우리들의 건강 증진에 많은 도움이 되리라고 생각됩니다.
