A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Unser Haus steht in einem kleinen Bergdorf mitten in den Glarner Bergen in der Nähe von Elm. Die Ferienwohnung ist direkt im Haus des Gastgebers. Zur Ferienwohnung gehört ein Teil des Gartens. Ein Gasgrill steht unseren Gästen zur Alleinbenutzung zur Verfügung. Gratis Parkplatz beim Haus. Uns liegt das Wohlbefinden unseren Gäste sehr am Herzen. Das ganze Jahr über bieten sich viele verschiedene Aktivitäten in dieser Region an. Für jedermann/frau ist etwas dabei.

The apartment is located in a Villa constructed in 1902. It was completely renovated in 2012 and refurnished with loving attention to details. The apartment is ideal for small groups and families as well as for individuals. In total, there are four rooms which provide space for six people (two double-beds and one double sleeping-sofa). Awesome location close to tons of hiking trails in Glarnerland! You do need to use cell service to check-in by calling a secondary host, which is a little bit complicated for tourists like us who don’t speak German. But the co-host (not listed on Airbnb, but a kind lady who actually helped us check-in) was very accommodating and welcoming, even with us arriving later than planned due to some travel issues. Had everything listed, clean, and a fair price for Switzerland.

We loved our stay at Remo’s lodge! The views were absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. The firepit and jacuzzi area were definite highlights — the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The lodge was quiet, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. Remo was a great host — friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. We’d happily come back again!

Wir waren gerade in den Skiferien. Es war wunderschön, wir fühlten uns alle sehr wohl in der Wohnung. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten und die Lage ist super. Wenige Schritte bis zur Bushaltestelle und dann in weniger als 1,5 km bei der Gondelbahn, super. Andrea ist sehr freundlich, herzlich und unkompliziert.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour dans le studio (Chalet Ruestel) de Marcel et Wioleta. Il est très propre, très bien situé dans Amden (Spar à 140m ; départ du télésiège à 120m) et la place de parc réservée est très appréciable. Il a été facile de communiquer avec Marcel et Wioleta, qui sont très réactifs et accueillants. Merci pour tout !
