The cabin is spacious and has a large fenced plot with nice outdoor spaces for activities for all ages. You can park several cars for free on the plot, about 50 meters from the cabin. From the Gapahuken with a fire pan you can enjoy the particularly beautiful view of Gjevilvatnet and towards the mountains behind. Gjevilvatnet is a 5 min walk from the cabin.

Welcome to our beautiful, family-friendly cabin completed in November 2024! Newly built and modern, but at the same time warm and cozy. Access to the ski slope right outside the cabin, which stretches into Nerskogen. On the plot there is a small and sheltered sledding hill, fire pit and benches that provide the opportunity for immediate play and coziness. The cabin is very nicely located in a small and quiet cabin area, with great views approx. 100 m from Skarvatnet. The cabin is a great starting point for great trips in the mountain area around Skarvatnet and Trollheimen. Here it is a short distance up to Snaufjellet and a very varied mountain area that is great for walking, cycling, running and skiing. Oppdal city center is about 20 min away by car. There you will find, among other things, alpine facilities, cinema, climbing center, swimming pool, cafes and shopping center.

Jenstad is the starting point for trips to Åmotan where 4 rivers meet with 3 amazing waterfalls. You live 5-10 minutes walk from the gorge where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow appears on sunny days. You live on the farm Jenstad with historic buildings from the 1700s where history can be read in every log both inside and outside. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a load-bearing beam that is about 170 cm between the hallway and the living room.
