Giles County is home to 37 miles of the New River, with endless hiking including the Appalachian Trail, and the must-see Cascade Falls.

The nocturnal canvas comes alive with a stunning display of stars and luminescent fireflies in the summer. As dawn breaks, you may spot a bear or hear the gentle whisper of the creek where my grandmother used to frolic 90 years ago. Despite being in nature, you'll have access to a hot shower, a toilet, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker.

Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

Easy river access for kayaks and canoes on the property near Pembroke boat launch for boats with motors. Finish your day around the campfire overlooking the water. Natural wildlife sightings are common.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Located by The Palisades Restaurant and 14 miles from Blacksburg, this beautiful home has been renovated to include the luxuries you deserve in life. All organic towels and sheets, Large kitchen, 2 master suites everything updated. Firepit and more to enjoy. We do not accept pets! The New River is very near and many hiking trails like the Cascades are just a quick drive. Walk to The Palisades for a evening dinner.
