Vacation rentals in Gibson County

This place was great. The location was perfect and very charming. Loved the walkability to the town. The area was very nostalgic (my dad grew up in Mt. Carmel), could have been a Hallmark Movie Set. We appreciated being able to have a comfortable space to spread out and enjoy ourselves (much better than any motel/hotel would have been). The back yard was certainly a "Sanctuary" , the plants were blooming and beautiful. The trees were amazing and we were able to watch and listen to a variety of birds, squirls and rabbits. And I won't forget the beautiful and friendly black and white cat who visited us everyday! We would 100% recommend staying here to anyone who may be considering it!

The house was beautiful. It was peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what we needed. The only thing that would have made this stay better is if I could have taken the master bathroom and kitchen and put it in my own house! The bed was super comfortable which is always a risk when staying somewhere. I will say, we have stayed at other homes that will take off some of the price if you don’t use all the bedrooms and bathrooms (they keep them locked if not needed) and that would have been nice here, as we did not use two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms, but it will not stop us from staying here again in the future! We will definitely be booking again.

Super cute, cozy home. Such a peaceful atmosphere. Very clean! Host was fabulous to work with! Would definitely stay here again.

We used the house for returning to town to see family, and friends. It was a perfect meeting spot with plenty of space. Parking was a challenge especially with any car or van, but suvs and trucks had no issue. The front porch doesn't have rails enclosing it, but it was nice to hang out on.

I stayed here for 3 months and enjoyed my time. The place is as described and would rent here again if I had a reason to be in town.

Absolutely loved this place! Very cute and cozy. Super clean and every detail was spot on. Loved having the complimentary waters in the fridge! We will definitely book again when visiting Mt. Carmel in the future. Thanks again!

The house was extremely clean. There was plenty of hot water. Lighting was very good in every room. Place was very quiet. We were in town for a family reunion and enjoyed our stay.
