We are just 20 minutes from winter place, 30 minutes from the new river gorge and four minutes from Raleigh General hospital. Ideal place for skiers, rafters, or travel nurses. The home was suitable for our needs as we were in town for a wedding. Everything appeared to be clean and tidy. The only thing that stood out was the photos look nicer than in person as the home felt a bit dated...but nonetheless, if you're looking for a convenient and clean stay in the area than this is a good option.

Such a serene beautiful setting. The geese, the 2nd floor view of the lake and trees and the separate spaces for my daughter and I made it a peaceful way to awaken into the spring day. Thank you for such a special experience!

What a beautiful spot. Loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the bull frog sing. If you are looking for a peaceful private spot , this is it. Cheryl thought of every little thing for convenience and comfort. Loved the separate thermostat for the bedroom and the bed was soooo cozy. Definitely check out Sandstone Falls and the local parks. I would go back in a minute.
