We had the most amazing stay at this Villa. Christine and Nicholas were so helpful before hand with renting a car and advice on what to do there. We were warmly welcomed by Omar and Najat on our arrival and the house looked just as amazing as the pictures. We loved the pool which is really good size with plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding around it. Najat was so wonderful with her care, we loved her cooking, so delicious and massages we wonderful too. We felt so well looked after it was almost overwhelming. Omar's gentle presence was reassuring too and he took care of a minor repair quickly, he also arranged Camel riding for us. Essaouira is beautiful and everyone we met was so friendly and easy going. Words cannot express enough how joyful a holiday it was, we were sad to leave and hope to go back someday. thank you

We stayed with our 8 and 10 year old daughters for 3 days and 2 nights. It was perfect. The riad is well located, even when you arrive with suitcases it is close to one of the gates of the Medina. (Option to have your luggage brought by people from the Medina with trolleys if needed). We were able to do anything on foot. The best thing about the accommodation is that each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet. The rooftop with ocean view is pleasant even if we did not enjoy it more than that because there are plenty of things to do in Essaouira. The welcome and exchanges with Catherine were very good. She even arranged our transfer from Marrakech airport with a very professional and serious driver company. Stay more than up to par in this Riad and in this beautiful Moroccan city.

Beautiful house with great staff Fatiha and Madi! They make your stay so pleasant. Beautiful stylish rooms and outdoor accommodation. Fun with the turtles and cats too! Fatiha was a good cook. The only disadvantage of the house was the stench of the nearby animals and flies. Furthermore, it was a wonderful place to relax!

Michelle's place was the perfect getaway. It slept 5 of us and our dog with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed to have breakfast and dinners when we felt like cooking. The house is next to everything, but down a quiet side street. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Riad in a great location. We loved our stay in this riad. The host was very proactive with checking in our stay, and the house manager - Sanea - was very friendly and helpful. The riad was beautifully decorated, with lots of common areas - making it great for our group of 8 (family members). Large dining area was perfect for the delicious breakfasts. Comfortable beds and good, hot showers, large bedrooms. The rooftop terrace has a spectacular view of the ocean, and of the town. The location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to the souks, cafes and the ocean. Thank you Charline and Sanea for making our time in Essaouira so special. We hope to be back one day.

The stay was absolutely fantastic. First, we were surprised because we couldn't get into the actual house because of storm damage. The other house, however, was much larger, very, very nice and in the same area. The owner is absolutely friendly and accommodating. He also helped us with other matters, such as organizing a taxi. There were two people who took care of order and cleanliness. They were super nice, accommodating and helpful and came to prepare breakfast and do the dishes afterwards. We took them straight to our hearts and it was nice to be relieved in the household. Thank you so much! I highly recommend the place. My friends who were there also shared this opinion.

We had a dream week at Villa Darko. All families fully enjoyed the villa, pool, and the many activities offered by the Essaouira region. Najat was a great host, always available and attentive. His cuisine was simply delicious: we enjoyed delicious Moroccan dishes every lunchtime and every evening. We highly recommend this villa, the quality of its staff, as well as Essaouira as an ideal destination for families. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Peaceful haven, we were able to fully enjoy the incredible calm offered by the villa without forgetting the beautiful pool If you love animals, it's even better because we really enjoyed feeding them and spending time with them. This villa is HEAVEN! Abdulahid is simply the nicest man and we shall stay in touch, for sure. He is incredibly kind and is very well connected to this area, should you need recommendations. Quite honestly, our stay has been nothing short of magical!!!

Very warm and cozy Villa. Slightly outdated. Beautiful plants and flowers around the house. +/-20 minutes drive From Essaouiera. Quietly located, only the rooster of the neighbors was very present. Lovely heated swimming pool. Extra asset is the presence of Fatima. She made a wonderful breakfast every morning (on request also other meals), she covered our beds, did the dishes, lit the fireplace in the morning... Real hotel service! Mohammed who came in the morning and evening for the maintenance of pool and garden was also a plus. If something was broken (for example, a running toilet) it was immediately repaired by him. Highly recommended but drive to Essaouiera.

It was the perfect right for a peaceful stay. The house is extremely cozy. Otmane is very friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

An absolutely stunning riad with the most amazing view from the terrace. Hasna and Sadia were brilliant our entire stay, Adil was also so helpful and accommodating- particularly with our super-late arrival. A gorgeous place to stay.

Super nice host. There were problems with a leaky water pipe that we could very easily solve together. The house is great but the area around the house is empty on which there is a lot of trash. But of course the host can't do anything about it. The neighbors are a little sensitive to children's noise, but Sara took it relaxed. Thanks for staying

The stay at Anas's was really very good and relaxing. the ocean views are simply breathtaking. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Essaouira.

Hamouda is an excellent host, attentive and friendly. He checked in with us, have us recommendations, and was understanding. The place is clean and the terrace is a heaven of peace. The place is conveniently located (5-minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to the Medina), which makes it easier to explore the city. The neighborhood has nice and cheap cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay , the view is amazing and the house is well located. However the wifi isn’t great, comfortable sofa and TV would be appreciated , other than that everything went good with the host and Khadija is very nice and helpful. I recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this stunning 3-floor dar in the heart of Essaouira’s Medina. The house is beautifully restored, blending traditional Moroccan charm with modern comforts. Each floor has its own unique atmosphere, and the rooftop terrace is absolutely perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening with a view of the Medina rooftops. The location couldn’t be better—tucked away in a peaceful corner of the old town, but just a short walk to the souks, the ramparts, and the beach. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. Our host was warm, responsive, and provided great local tips, which really enhanced our stay. If you’re looking for a truly authentic and memorable experience in Essaouira, this place is a gem. We had a few relaxing days in Marie's beautiful house. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and we felt right at home. The house is quietly located and 15 minutes from the beach. Marie was always available and helpful.
