Located in the village of Àger, just 20 minutes from the Corçà pier (Montrrebei gorge kayaks) and 10 minutes from the Montsec Astronomical Park (ideal when you return in the morning after seeing the stars). Can Comella està integrada en el teixit urbà del poble de Gavarra, un poble que a mitjans del S XX es va vincular al municipi de Coll de Nargó. Fins a principis del segle passat la casa estava habitada. Tot i les seves reduïdes dimensions, els elements constructius que conformen l'estructura d'aquest edifici són els originals, circumstància que converteix Can Comella en un exemple valuòs de l'arquitectura tradicional de la zona.
