There are two grocery stores, specialty shops, a hotel, a bakery, campgrounds, a fjord sauna, and a small sandy beach with a shared barbecue/outdoor area all within walking distance. There is walking distance to bus, shuttle boat and ferry Sæbø-Leknes/Urke. Sæbø is a good starting point from easy to spectacular mountain hikes. During the season, you can fish salmon in the Bondalselva River (buy a fishing permit at the shop).

There is also a large lawn with a good space for play and fun. The house is fully furnished and well equipped. 2 large bathrooms. Regular renovation in recent years means that the house is in excellent condition. The house was built in the 1880s and is located at the northern end of Eidsgata - a pleasant main street with beautiful wooden houses, shops and restaurants. Here it is a short distance to everything.

Liabygda is located in the middle of the Sunnmøre. 45 min to Geiranger, 10 min to Valldal, 45 min to Trollstigen, 60 min to Ålesund. If you want an active vacation, you have many great mountain hikes or alpine pasture hikes nearby. Electric vehicle charging station available at additional cost. In Valldal you will find activities such as guided kayak tour, canyoning, rafting, climbing park and bowling.

Enjoy a quiet stay in beautiful surroundings with fantastic views. The cottage is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood. This is a gem of a place to stay to experience Sunnmøre. Strandafjellet ski center is within 10min drive. Ålesund, which is known for its special Jugend style, and Geiranger, which is on UNESCO World Heritage List, are places that are worth a visit and perfect for day trips. The nearest grocery store is in the centre of Stranda (2.5 km). Ålesund Airport: 78 km

Cottage by the lake

Nice cabin right by the lake with good sun conditions. Boat with motor can be rented for an additional fee. The cabin is located in a very nice area in the middle of Sunnmørsalpane. Great opportunities for mountain trips in summer and winter, and fishing in the fjord. Nice starting point for day trips to, among other things, the bird mountain Runde, Ålesund and Geiranger. There is plenty of space for 8 people in the cabin, but for ski tourists we want to rent to max 6 people.
