Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Geilo

Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen und gemütlichen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ausstattung der Küche war super! Wir kommen bestimmt sehr gerne wieder!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Lisa sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben, wir können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Fantastisk sted å være med stor familie med kjæledyr, rolig og vakker sted som man bare ønsker å komme tilbake til. Ligger fint, privat ved vannet, skiløyper samt kort vei til alle fasiliteter. Over forventinger vakker, pyntet til Jul. Fantastisk koselig og ekte Julestemning. Hyggelig oh god kommunikasjon med husverten. Takker masse :-).

Very spacious and modern accommodation. Plenty of space to relax and only 5 mins in the car to the ski resort base

Top cosy cabin in a lovely surroundings. Stayed 4 nights over New Year. As Bjørnar was abroad at the time, his mother went out of her way to make our stay as perfect as possible! The house was heated upon our arrival. She even picked us up from nearby as it was a bit tricky to find the place. Good to know that when lots of snow, you need appropriate car tires for snow and ice. We could loan cross country skies and even winter boots as our son forgot his at home. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, the two fire places, walks nearby, surround sound system on TV for great movie nights! We hope to come back one day!

Es war alles super! Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit Kamin, moderner Küche und Bad und einer tollen Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein in Bezug auf z.B Öl, Gewürze, Müllbeutel etc. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es jedem weiter empfehlen.

Un superbe cabanon: très bien pensé et bien aménagé, confortable. Sanitaires communs très propres. Un séjour très agréable. Nous recommandons fortement cet hébergement !

Beautiful little stabbur cottage - very natural surroundings - sheep and goats that were grazing - our daughter enjoyed that fully! Very practical space - beautiful surroundings - had all we needed and toilet/shower close by. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in natural surroundings and close to Hemsedal Centre. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming 🙏🏼 and their dog absolutely adorable 🥰

We had a wonderful time during our stay end of December. The house was cosy and we felt at home from the beginning. The location was nice with possibilities for skiing and hiking around. Also the facilities in the house were great, especially the fireplace.

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut unseren Urlaub in der Unterkunft von Åse zu verbringen. Die Gegend war uns schon bekannt somit wussten wir bereits wie schön es in Tyinkrysset ist. Åse ist eine sehr nette und kommunikative Gasgeberin, wir haben uns sehr gut mit ihr verstanden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und macht es einem leicht auch bei Regen dort ein paar Tage zu verbringen. Besonders haben wir die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung geschätzt. Wir ziehen es in Betracht einmal wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Vi var en vennegjeng som skulle gå langrenn i fjellet. Vi hade fine fjellturer og en fantastisk fin vistelse. Bratte isete veier opp till hytta og inget lys på hytta når vi kom fram i mörket. Men Mai-Britt var veldig hjelpsom og svarte raskt på telefonen så vi lett fant fram og var også behjelpelig med å ringe traktor for å bedre veiforholdene. Ellers veldig fin hytte som hadde alt vi trengte for en toppen uke i fjellet😊

Elisabeth is a very nice and helpful person! And her cabinn is full of good karma and relaxition💓🦋 She is one of those people who restores your faith in humanity🌎🌍🌏

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på hytta med veldig gode langrennsløyper, uteplass til å sitte i solen og sauna etter langrennstur. Vi var en stor gjeng, men alle følte de hadde god plass og selv om kjøkkenet er litt lite, gikk det helt fint å lage mat til alle. Isak er veldig enkel å kommunisere med og svarer raskt. Vi hadde med gjester fra Tyskland som elsket hytta og utsikten samt omgivelsene. Vi leier gjerne denne hytta igjen 😊

Hytten lå dejligt afsides i smuk natur. Løjperne startede tæt på hytten. Udlejning af udstyr fandt vi 40 min. i bil i Aurdal. Hytten var ren, moderne og lækker. Den lå også helt perfekt i forhold til solopgang og nedgang. Vi så endda nordlys, mens vi var der. Der er ikke butikker i nærheden, så det er en fordel at købe stort ind, inden man tager op til hytten. Men ellers en god oplevelse :-)

Olav hat immer schnell geantwortet und erklärte alles was für die Unterkunft relevant war. Wir waren hier sehr zufrieden!

En flott og velutstyrt hytte med en fantastisk utsikt. Pent og ryddig. Anbefales.

André est un hôte très accueillant et réactif qui a tout mis en œuvre pour que nous passions un agréable séjour entre amis. La cabine correspond parfaitement à la description, elle est très propre et très agréable et se situe dans un endroit paisible. Elle dispose également de tout le nécessaire pour un court ou long séjour dans la région. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Veldig fin hytte, med. fantastisk utsikt i vakker natur, verkelig ein stad «å senke skuldrane». Tusen takk😊

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!

The hut is located in a small settlement about 40 mins south of Geilo. Everything was as described and we had plenty of space for 6 adults. The surrounding nature is stunning and you have a lot of options to explore it. With the fireplace, hot tub and sauna the hut is also suited well to stay in and have a relaxing day. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to come back again!
