Excellent location to enjoy all the best of Skye. It was so fun to wake up each morning and see the neighboring sheep outside the many windows of this beautifully constructed cottage. Easy access to restaurants and shops—-just make sure to have reservations for dinner during the busy months! Jim is a great host. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely stay.

The local area to the cottage is lovely and has some great walks for days when you don’t want to drive far. Mary is a very helpful host and there is lots of useful information in the house itself.

Beautiful cottage, very cosy. Lovely garden and watching the myriads of different bird species coming and going on the bird feeders was delightful. Great location, near Portree and fairly central to Skye's main attractions though quiet and off the beaten track. Would definitely recommend as a place to explore Skye from.

We had a fantastic stay at Rachel’s place on Skye! The house was exactly like the photos - clean, modern, and comfortable. Rachel was a great host, quick to respond and very welcoming. The dishwasher (with separate cutlery tray), strong shower, and fast Wi-Fi were all great. The huge garden was a bonus, we even saw a deer! The view is stunning, and on clear days you can spot the Old Man of Storr from the street. The house feels new and the bed is comfy, though bring a sleep mask if you're light-sensitive as it doesn't get very dark at night. Only thing we missed was a microwave, but heating food in a pan worked fine. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated the fresh bread, coffee, and tea waiting for us. We even had a nice chat with Rachel and her lovely kids. Thanks again for everything, including the Sticky Willy! We’d love to come back. Five stars: well deserved!

Sharon and David were friendly and accommodating hosts and gave us some great recommendations. The location was terrific, easy to find and had very good parking space. We so appreciated the use of a washing machine as we were doing a lot of hiking. This was an outstanding home base for us as we travelled about the Isle of Skye!
