Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Gauley River

Awesome place, very cozy and private! Very roomy and spacious would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area!

We loved our stay. The apartment was spotless and had everything you need for a cater in. The salt water hot tub was spacious and very clean. A great place to relax after hiking. It was also close to all the local attractions. Tony and Lorrie were also very responsive and gracious hosts. Next time we go back to the NRG area, we plan on staying there again.

Erin's home was perfect for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. The location, within walking distance to downtown Fayetteville was perfect. There were stores and restaurants nearby and the entrance to the National Park was a short 5 minute drive. The home was exactly as described and shown in photos, with all the amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the amount of space, pool and hot tub as well as the fully fenced in backyard because we were travelling with our dog. As a host Erin was incredibly responsive, provided helpful information about the house and area. We could not recommend her house enough, it was fantastic for our needs and trip and hope to stay again in the future.

The place is beautiful. All the amenities that anyone would want is here. The place is beautiful, Stephan is a wonderful host. Very helpful. The location is amazing, plenty to do in the area.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Kim has thought of everything - any appliance, utensil, linen etc. you could possibly need or have forgotten, she has there for you already. Place was the perfect size and the hot tub, grill, fire pit, games, outdoor games etc., she had plenty of options for activities and entertainment. Location was fantastic, very close to ‘Adventures on the Gorge’ which has everything from white water rafting to ziplining, and also only 10 minutes away from several popular trails and the bridge outlook boardwalk for New River Gorge National Park. Despite being close to things, her cottage was located off a serene and private road, with plenty of wildlife around. Everything was clean, well thought of, well prepared, and there were even fresh homemade brownies waiting for us when we arrived. I have no complaints and would happily stay here again without a doubt!

What a beautiful property! The views from this cabin are breathtaking, especially in the morning with the fog in the mountains. The cabin is incredibly cozy, rustic and eccentric. It has a personality all of its own and you can tell it is very well loved. Comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower. Everything felt and looked clean. The hosts were very responsive and we met Alan when he was tending to the chickens - he is so friendly and great for conversation! New River Gorge National Park and Fayetteville are within 15 minutes of this cabin, along with all the fun activities. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting this area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Ascension Cabin is a very peaceful location near family! It is clean and well equipped. Darin is very responsive and makes his guests feel at home! We can’t wait until our next visit.

Wonderful property that is secluded but also has lots of space. The fire pit and hot tub were great for spending time outside, and it's super close to the national park.

This cabin was a perfect setting for a getaway with good friends. The cabin is surrounded by nature and is a very peaceful property. There are even some great trails to explore just out the back door. The cabin is equipt with just about all the cooking supplies and utensils you would need. The view out back was spectacular, even on rainy days. Highly recommend.

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

Our stay was nothing short of magnificent! We really enjoyed the quiet scenery and beautiful weather! The cabin is small and intimate exactly what we were looking for on our little getaway(: the hot tub in the evening with the lights strung around really helped the romantic atmosphere. Our host was nothing short of welcoming and accommodating! Our grill didn’t work right on the first night and we came back from a day of adventure to a brand new grill on the back porch! Above and beyond could not have imagined a better place to unwind and quiet down the chaos of everyday life! We will most certainly be back (:

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

We loved this place! It was close to everything but really felt secluded, so peaceful and quiet and with the lovely sound of the creek outside! Loved soaking in the hot tub watching the fireflies everywhere! The cabin was so clean, the bed very comfortable, and they thought of everything- extra toothbrushes, toiletries, teas and snacks...anything you miht need. Host very responsive too! We would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The hosts were amazing at helping us navigate the mountains. We spent our time relaxing in their cabin and skiing at snowshoe. It was a respectable distance from snowshoe. I felt very comfortable staying in their cabin because Hannah treated us like family!
