The place has two nice beaches, one of which is shallow and is well suited for children. In the area there are also many nice hiking trails and great ski trails. In winter, there is ice on the water, with the possibility of ice fishing, ice skating or other. The cabin area is child friendly, and closed with a barrier only for residents.

The area has 2 beaches, a long shallow suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many walks to explore and small fishing lakes in Odalen.

Konglehyttene er presentert i National Geographics Special Edition Lakes & Mountains. You'll love this unique and romantic place. The cabin has full bathroom with toilet and shower, kitchen with fridge, freezer and hob. Outdoors you will have your private cone sauna. If you are more than two guests, you will have access to the small guest cabin next door. Then you have two bedrooms and share a bathroom/kitchen in Konglehytta itself. The guest house has a fridge, coffee maker and some equipment.

There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
