Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gangtok

We stayed at Himalayan Hues in Gangtok for two nights. Located near SAP camp, it’s peaceful yet close to MG Marg. The owner, Piyush, is always helpful and guided us with our itinerary. The caretaker, Passang, made our stay memorable by assisting with cabs and cooking amazing food, especially Tibetan momos and dry aloo dum. Though we couldn’t see Kanchenjunga due to fog, the weather was great. The place felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gangtok and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfect for a short or long stay. I’ll definitely come back, this time for a long stay!

This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. This place is recommended for couples and families and this place ticks all the right boxes to be one of the best AIRBNB we ever stayed. We look forward to visit again to explore north Sikkim. It was a nice stay at Rohini's place. We spent 14 nights there on a business and i must say that everything was excellent. The location of it was close to my destination as well as some other important places. The most important was the food and staying in a homely environment. They took care of all the our needs. We always got the foods we wanted. Overall i would give 10/10 ratings.

Diki and her family were amazing hosts. They made us fit in just like home. We shared food and good times all throughout our stay with them. The room was excellent with scenic views and spacious area. Diki also prepared meals and invited us to share. It was overall a very comfortable and delightful stay. It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

Our stay at Sherab’s place was truly heartwarming. The rooms were not only clean and cozy but also beautifully adorned with flowers and plants, creating a peaceful and refreshing environment. The entire property is very well maintained and surrounded by natural beauty. What truly stood out was the hospitality. Sherab personally brought his car every day to help my elderly grandmother avoid the stairs, using the backdoor that’s car-accessible—something we deeply appreciated. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made her stay so much easier. The staff, especially Sandip and “Uncle,” were incredibly helpful, kind, and always available. The kitchen was the cherry on top—fully stocked with everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. This place felt like a true home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and peaceful getaway.

This place has everything that travellers need a happy host who is more than happy to help you explore the location and guide you beyond and helped us to get to nathula pass with our two loving pets they did not only made us felt at home but our pets too they really took good care of us and pets Anita and her husband and her whole family are very loving and caring we highly recommend this place coz there nothing more beautiful than this family in whole Gangtok we loved our stay and 1000% respect to our host who are not just doing business but also sharing love and care for fellow travellers and they are ready to help you to any extent with all their possibilities. Easily among the most pleasant and memorable stays we have had during our family road trips! Beautiful surroundings, great view of Kanchenjunga (sunset even better than sunrise), caring and responsive support staff. Sonam and family are kind, responsive and gracious hosts - we were especially lucky to spend an evening with them around the delicious barbecue they were having. Mrs. and Mr. Kazi Sherpa are delightful storytellers - we'll always cherish our time with them. Whole heartedly recommend Sherpa Villa for a peaceful, beautiful stay in Gangtok!

The Homestay was cleaned and all the amenities mentioned were present. The food was excellent and the host was also very helpful

If anybody wants to feel mountains, he must spend a few days there. Sight of snow-clad Kanchenjunga from the room (from the bed, to be precise) in a clear sunny day is a bonus, the real thing is the serenity of mountains. If you fail to see beyond 5 yards, rest assured that Almighty Himalaya himself will console you with the gentle touch of his clouds meandering through the balcony of your room. The surrounding, in any point of time, leaves you calm at the core of your being in this Peaceful Nest, as the name of the room Shanti-neer aptly suggests. You may not even care for all the earthly facilities meticulously provided in the room and through the service as you will remain mesmerized by the Nature throughout your stay there.

Nice little hamlet amidst the jungle. The view from the room was stunning. The owner of the hamlet, Mr.Avinash Rai and family took good care. The food was simple but delicious and warm. You can take simple hiking in the jungle or take a guide to go down to the riverbed. The property is maintained by a group called Furut Camp. They are into this jungle hiking and offbeat camping. They can arrange various activities tailored to your needs. Overall, I recommend visiting this offbeat nature trail.

We had a wonderful stay at the place! It was perfect for my family which we were looking for. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The caretakers were extremely kind and helpful, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the delicious barbeque they arranged for us—it was absolutely tasty and well-prepared! The neighborhood was peaceful and the local people were friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!
