I travelled to Kashmir for the first time with my wife and naturally I was looking for a good, secure, and cozy place. I searched many places and suddenly I saw this place right beside the beautiful dal lake with great review on the airbnb. I was sceptical about the place as it was relatively new but when I arrived my doubts were cleared instantly. The owner Sahil and especially his father was very friendly, helpful and treated us just like their family. Uncle (Sahil's father) is a great man and he managed our sikara ride beautifully and precisely just at the time of sunset ( in a very affordable rate). They also provided parking space for my rented scooty at their premises too. They greated us with delicious kehwa and also provided us with important knowledge about local surroundings. All the things they mentioned in the description were accurately provided along with great wifi connectivity. Overall our experience at Sunset Chalet was brilliant one an I would recommend it to all.

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying with Latif and his family. The stay is located In a quiet part of Srinagar. Just what you need after a busy day in the town. Had the pleasure of spending time with Latif and his family, talking about everything under the sun. Just be mindful that it is away from the main town - might be difficult to go on and about if you don’t have your own vehicle. If you don’t mind taking shared cabs or just walking till you figure your way to town for anything, then this is just perfect :)

Felt at home. the entire family was very courteous. everything was fantastic.

The place is in nearby area of Dal lake. One can see Shikara rides passing by from your back window. You can also see snow peaked mountains from your window. Place is in quiet area and we loved our stay here. Host is responsive and helped us whenever needed. Place has electric blankets and host will provide other accessories if available. Place is just 2 km away from Dal lake gate. Place was clean and well maintained. Will definitely recommend this to others

We had an amazing stay at Apple Cottage in Srinagar. From the moment we arrived, Huma, our host, made us feel so welcome. The cottage is so beautiful, cozy,and the perfect place to relax in Kashmir. But what truly made our trip special was Huma’s hospitality. She went out of her way to help us with everything and made sure we had a smooth and hassle-free experience. She was always there to guide us, give great recommendations, and help with anything we needed. It’s rare to find a host who genuinely cares so much about their guests. Sure! Here’s a more natural and easygoing version: If you’re visiting Srinagar, I highly recommend staying at Apple Cottage. It’s a beautiful place, and Huma’s hospitality truly makes it special. She made our trip so much better!

Tariq's place was good as described and presented in listing. However, the best part was hosts proactiveness and homely behaviour. we felt like we are at home only. And whenever we wanted something he was always there to help us. Thank you so much Tariq bhai. I highly recommend this stay for wveryone for a peaceful stay at Dal Lake.
