Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gabrovo

This is a beautiful old house which has evidently been lovingly restored by Maya and Kalin with some delightful features. It is in a quiet rural location with lovely views of the mountains. The property is spacious and well-equipped and there is a large garden. Be aware that the road to the property (1km from the main road) is in a very poor state which our small hire car found challenging in places. We enjoyed seeing a visiting hare and a red deer and listening to the grasshoppers and birds. There are local walks and Kalin was very helpful in suggesting places we could explore in the neighbourhood.

Local flavor and very comfortable. Located in the scenic old town and a short walk to the castle this property has all the amenities you would need in a quaint yet roomy apartment. There are many restaurants nearby with great views. Both bedrooms are large and comfortable and having a garage is a bonus.

The area of Kazanlak is beautiful. The apartment is located in a quiet and welcoming place, close to the Rosarium. The host is helpful and kind. I was fascinated that he had left children's tea for the children. We would go back there again.

Honestly, this was probably one of my best airbnb experiences, if not best. Firstly, Stefan’s parents are the loveliest, most helpful and friendly hosts I have ever met. Secondly, the place perfectly mirrors the name Green Paradise: we felt sorry that we had to leave so soon! Everything was cozy, spotless clean and comfortably organised. I would consider the accommodation perfect for both romantic stay or a family stay: it is really calm, private and there are many possibilities to enjoy games such as volleyball, football etc. My friend’s kid even skated there! My favourite things about Stefan’s place were the endless garden, full of whimsical little decorations and brilliant mountain views, the absolute peace and quiet, but most of all: the starry skies! I will definitely come again, but this time for a longer visit.

Tristan was very helpful and understanding of my late arrival. The apartment was spotless, well furnished and equipped with all of the necessary amenities. The location is scenic - right next to a lake populated by swans which you can enjoy from the terrace with your morning coffee. Very close to the town center.

We are delighted with our stay. Clean, tidy, private. Plamen is a great host. Greeted us with a smile and clear instructions. You can count on efficient heating of the accommodation in the winter.

Everything was exactly as in the photos and as in the description, a great value for money, a private and quiet setting to spend the holidays in a small circle of families with teenagers between 13 and 19 years old. I would recommend it with all my heart.

The location of the apartment, the atmosphere in it and the infinitely responsive attitude of the hostess make this place ideal for a stay in Kazanlak. We were a 3-minute walk from the Central Square and all the events related to the Rose Festival. We highly recommend it and will visit it again when we are in the Kazanlak area. Thank you! Our only recommendation is to follow the directions on Google maps and the address - they send you to the other end of the boulevard, but in fact the place is in the building of the Central Post Office of Kazanlak - very easy to find, to park and within walking distance of the Central Square of the city. Till we meet again!

The apartment was exactly as listed, Polina and her mother were exceptional in communicating with us. The view from the apartment is amazing also.

We had a great stay at Peter’s place. The apartment felt like home with lovely energy and everything needed. Our doggie enjoyed both balconies a lot. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back!

It’s really nice, authentic Bulgarian style place. Amazing panoramic view. Very peaceful, a nice walk around area. We stayed just for over night but felt just like at home. Strahil is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was great. We didn’t use any of the additional amenities, like the jacuzzi, but we would if we had more time. Definitely worth it, we will consider it again, it will be nice even during the winter. A great escape from the city noise and enjoy the nature.

Self-checked in. This is an attic home accessed by a steep staircase. It's not quite convenient to climb and you need to bend a little on the mountain, but everything is great inside. Parked under the house.

The house is really well located to get to many places in the area (a car is needed of course). There are two floors with a kitchen and living area on the lower level. The kitchen is huge and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Also the garden is great works perfectly with children (we came with ours). Piero is very proactive and already contacted us way in advance on how to get there We would definitely come again! Also if you need any tips for the area you can always get it. Thanks a lot to Piero and Nina for the lovely time we had!
