Watch the incredible starry sky and feel comfortable in the cozy Mainhaus. Good beds, heating, a sauna, the open woodstove in the Sunroom make it comfortable.

Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Welcome to our 9 acre private lot sitting up on a hill over looking the beautiful Mira River. Enjoy the open concept cottage with spacious bedrooms and large kitchen. A short walk down the hill takes you to your own private beach on the Mira River to swim in the day and enjoy a bon fire at night. The spacious deck has a large hot tub and chairs to enjoy the views. The property also has its own 1km hiking trail that circles the property.

We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.

It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
