Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Frisia

Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

We felt very comfortable. Rainaldo is a very nice host, was available at any time and was able to help us in minutes. Very nice, quiet and clean apartment overlooking the North Sea. This certainly wasn't our last stay there:)

We, Hennie, the dogs and I had a wonderful Ascension weekend at the sheepfold. The sheepfold is surrounded by lots of greenery and animals and a seat by the pond, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The sheepfold is a cozy cottage and equipped with every comfort. We were very surprised by a well-stocked fridge with lots of fresh fruit, tasty cheese and even a glass of wine. The WiFi works perfectly. Our four-legged friends were warmly welcomed and enjoyed all the greenery and animals. Anthonie provided a warm welcome and we can look back on a few fantastic days. Thank you.

In a beautiful location is the house of Dirk-Jan, a very friendly host. You feel immediately welcome and he also provides a delicious breakfast with a toast during breakfast as the crowning glory :) From the house you can walk to Volendam, which we thought was ideal.

A magical place that took us to a different era. Extremely peaceful surroundings for relaxation and peace. Hosts are very kind and welcoming. We'll be back and highly recommend this property 👍😀

We had a great weekend in Jacqueline's small vacation home. You live very quietly and the place is perfect for three people. Communication was easy, Jacqueline had good tips for the area and we felt completely comfortable. Especially accommodating was the breakfast provided in the refrigerator, which was there when we arrived. So you could save yourself the first purchase. The connection to The Hague is very good with the train station 10 minutes' walk away. You can also get to Rotterdam and Delft quickly with Jacqueline's tips for free P+R parking at the train stations. We would keep coming back!:)

It was a wonderful getaway. The location is very idyllic with the small stream by the garden. You can relax wonderfully. The garden is fully enclosed, which is really great for the dog. The house is totally cozy and you feel right at home.

Our stay with Isabel was wonderful. Her place is charming and vibrant. The gardens and pool are gorgeous. Breakfast in the garden was amazing - delicious and fresh and in a perfect setting. Isabel was friendly and warm and responsive, while still giving us our privacy. The house was a great home base for our exploration of beautiful Texel.

The whole journey was as smooth as can be. I travelled to Bernard’s during a train strike and he was understanding with the changing check in times. The room was perfect for my short stay, he provided an espresso machine and a tea maker in the room. Towels, comfortable bed and a toilet next doors I could take a hot shower in. Perfect as I was coming for a weekend festival! Aldi and Jumbo supermarket was also a short walk away. Bernard was very helpful and I enjoyed my time in Arnhem. It was 20min with bus to the centre, but you can also walk for about 1h which I enjoyed, to see more of the nature and local life. I also visited the airborne museum which is a must when visiting. Would stay again!

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

Mark is an exceptional host and a great person. The house was like walking into design/art fairytale and it was maintained so incredibly well. Everything was so well-maintained, carefully curated and well-placed. Truly a beautiful experience to stay there.

I spent a night passing through with Herma and her husband. The property is very well maintained and is located in the middle of a forest surrounded by nature. Breakfast was prepared with a lot of heart and Herma is a very kind host. The "schoolhouse" on the property, which has been freshly renovated and is suitable for groups/families, is also highly recommended. I'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful house of Jochen & Hauke in Welt. The location was great and thanks to the many tips of the two, we were able to make great use of every day - thank you!

Giselle's place is a lovely, clean and comfortable B&B, and Giselle is a very sweet and kind host. The B&B is in a great location for walking the Pieterspad.

It was an unforgettable and carefree vacation. The children felt very comfortable from the beginning, and we were able to completely switch off in the four days and simply forget the time. Wendy and Peter went to an incredible amount of trouble. You can feel how much heart they put into it. The children were able to play carefree while we enjoyed the time together to the fullest. The weather was mixed, but that didn't dampen the mood. The short rain showers were quickly over, and there was always enough time for beautiful experiences outside. The community with the other guests was also very pleasant, open, warm and uncomplicated. Mom's highlight: fondue and her own garden The highlight of Papa: hot tub and your own grill The highlight for the children: the playground and the fresh eggs in the morning We will definitely be back!

I had the most lovely stay at Ina’s hut. If you’re in doubt of booking this, do not hesitate!! Lovely location close to the ocean and energising to become one with nature. Ina is the sweetest lady and an awesome cook too. I definitely hope to return to this little paradise💚

Sven’s place was well located and very clean. It had the best bed of our trip. We rented bicycles nearby and easily explored the East side of Fohr. Such a beautiful island. Sven was readily available when we had questions, and his breakfast (optional) was intimate and delicious. I recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful stay at Ragna & Samuel. Being able to park right in front and use the bikes to cycle to the city made us feel like real Amsterdammers! If you need any tips on restaurants, bars... Samuel is happy to help! 10/10 would (and will) recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Very nice place. Two minute walk to a sandy beach where we could swim in shallow water in the morning but still did our laps. Enjoyed the noisy frog communication in the evening. Nice that there were good wine and champagne glasses next to the coffee and tea. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday with a delicious breakfast to finish. Thank you thank you thank you!

Sabine and her husband are super nice! We felt right at home! I highly recommend the place to everyone :) I was there with a friend for her bachelorette party, since she's not a party animal, it was perfect there. We had a lot of fun and everything was very nice! We would always come back! Thanks again to Sabine :)
