Keeper's House Apartment at the Lighthouse

Rent the keeper's apartment at the Swan's Island Lighthouse. The apartment is located on the upper level of the keeper's house and is well-appointed, tidy, and bright. Sleeps 2. Minimum stay 7 nights Sunday to Saturday. The grounds of the light station are Town property, and open to the public so while the keeper's apartment is private, the downstairs space and grounds will have visitors. You will be responsible for keeping the outside doors of the building locked when not open to the public.

Quick note: While Acadia is accessible via the ferry, we do not recommend Swan’s Island as a “home base” for doing multiple days at the park as the last ferry runs at ~5pm. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.
