Pet-friendly vacation rentals in French Polynesia

We stayed for six nights, and we were very satisfied with our time here. Our check-in went very smoothly. Barthelemy and Nathalie were wonderful checking us in as well as checking in with us throughout our time when we had questions. They are amazing people. This place is close to the water. One observation is that the street can get a bit noisy from time to time with street traffic. Amazing value

It is even better than the photos! Very spacious, great outdoor area with direct water access, bathroom and kitchen and dining area are spotless and lovely decorated.

Vatea is without doubt the most hospitable Airbnb host I’ve ever met. He greeted us with a smile, fruit & flowers in the house, and was always available to chat about island life and suggestions for things to do in Tahaa. The house is wonderfully clean & functional with beautiful views of Bora Bora & the sunset right from the front porch. We’d gladly return on our next visit to Tahaa.

Amazing stay. The home is right next to the water with plenty of water amenities to take advantage of the close proximity. The snorkeling was great in our own private coral bed. There aren't as many turtles and sharks and rays on the southern part, but the ease of hopping in and out of the water was wonderful. There were however mosquitoes so bring some bug spray. My family had an amazing and relaxing time.

Lucienne and Eric were such amazing hosts! To seamless airport transfer, to breakfasts of fresh fruits and baguette, and bikes to get around, we had a fantastic time! The space is clean and new and had all the amenities you’d need. The location was amazing close to Tiputa Pass and next door to the Kia Ora Hotel to arrange snorkel tours. They made our visit to Rangiroa an experience we will never forget!

What a meeting. I came with two of my friends for fifteen days to Mark's. Mark and his wife were always present when we needed something and always at discretion. Every home has been built from Mark's hands and each of his homes are artwork. The place overlooks the mountains and we are only a hundred meters from an access to the lagoon. Rent a kayak and cross the lagoon you will most certainly see dolphins in their 20s play, jump, swim. Anyway, Thank you Mark for this welcome and this moment of fullness. Life is beautiful. 2nd stay at Victoria and Jonathan's with friends who discovered an original and soothing setting! An incredible opportunity to enjoy a private waterfall! We'll be back for sure to this warm and atypical place! Thank you Victoria and Jonathan for the little touches that are always pleasant!

Thank You Frederic and family for sharing with us your beautiful home, the Tiki House. Frederic met us at Tiki House with a warm welcome and showed us around the beautiful little house and his lovely gardens! The home has several small touches to make it a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We wished our plans had allowed for a longer stay. It is private and quiet, comfortable air conditioning and comfortable bed. The breakfast provided was out of this world!! Everything about the stay was perfect in every way!! It is a blessing to stay in a place owned and cared for by a local. You can feel the warmth and love they have for their island and their home. Thanks again and hopefully someday we will be back.

We had a great stay, the apartment is very spacious and we really enjoyed the balcony. The road to the place is quite bumpy and the parking place tested my skills a little but both were described accurately and we were well prepared. There is a sweet restaurant on the beach side and a gas station walking distance away and a supermarket and amazing bakery a short drive away. The instructions to enter were clear and available prior to arrival. We were provided with tips and suggestions for activities and the apartment has a few extra business cards of local tours/restaurants/taxis We advise having a car to get around well for future guests We really had good time, merci for all Bernadette & Vanessa

We had a lovely stay at the house. The accommodation is functional and well appointed. The pool overlooking the mountains is very nice and the location is great!

Carole and Christophe's place was a tropical oasis. It was peaceful and comfortable. We liked the outdoor sitting areas and the pool was nice. All the amenities were there. Mimi the cat was a nice companion.

Highly recommend! You’re not only booking a place to stay you’re booking a full experience with multiple snorkeling opportunities, sailing, and relaxing. The boat is outfitted to make you comfortable but the beauty is Bora Bora itself and this is a great way to see and experience it. Food was simple but so fresh and tasty better than most meals we ate our ultra-luxury resort. The captain and his first mate/chef were great if we needed anything but also just let us enjoy ourselves. We actually slept under the stars each night we were onboard which was spectacular. We priced out sailing options at many other websites and private skippers and the rates were super comparable if not better and the easy of booking was awesome compared to some others that make you jump through hoops.

The setting is beautiful🤩, the residence is quiet and pleasant…. Close to many shops right next to the residence. The house is great for a family time, it is clean, spacious…. And bright, everything we love. The children were spoiled with iced tea waiting for them in the fridge as well as pineapple juice and packets of chips… Super nice. Kevin is very responsive if needed. A good time with the family.

Alex was a proactive, and responsive -host that went above and beyond create a perfect holiday stay for us. The place was immaculate and absolutely beautiful. We loved our visit and will stay there again on our next trip. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at dolphin lodge, right on the beach with access to kayak and beach toys for kids. Liked the traditional feel of the fare. Had fully equipped kitchen, make sure you buy coffee pods if you need coffee! It was an adventure going to the drinking water station every day, wasn’t a hassle.local shop only a minutes drive away and à good selection of eateries also à short drive either direction as well as fruit stalls. Great public beaches also 10-15 minutes drive in either direction. I would stock up on groceries in Tahiti at one of the bigger supermarkets if catching boat over.

The accommodation is very friendly, perfectly arranged, with a terrace offering a sublime view of the bay. Its location south of the island guarantees calm. There are a few trailers and a convenience store nearby. Our host was very attentive, offering flexible check-in and check-out times.

Perfect location, close to ferry and car rental.

Alban picked us up by boat at our hotel and we did a 3 night cruise exploring the island of Bora Bora. The only way to really experience Bora Bora is by boat, so highly encourage this! Alban is an experienced sailor, who sailed here from France, crossing both the Atlantic and half the Pacific. He’s also worked as a cruise captain and knows how to host — just started on AirBnB: jump on this before he gets too popular with great reviews! We felt very welcome. Alban adapted our tour to our interest, knew all the beautiful places to snorkel and swim with sharks and rays. Food was excellent: local and French cuisine and deserts prepared fresh every time (restaurant level quality), sometimes prepared with the help of his daughters who were also on board during our stay. You get all the best views of Bora Bora from the boat that you’d be laying down $3-6k per night for at a resort. Plus a sense of freedom and adventure.

I’m not sure how to describe what a unique and special place this was for our family of 4. The arrival was simple, we purchased all our groceries for the entire stay and then went about our way to the small boat that took us to Ahuna. Overbuying was necessary as we knew what to expect. “Glamping”. Upon arrival to the villa we were in awe. It’s truly a beautiful & unique property. No other property is like this one from location to views to style to decor. I’m an interior designer so my job is to find beauty and inspiration all around me - and Ahuna did it for me. Everything felt authentic, collected and thoughtful. Please remember the context you’re in. This is a true island beach bum Bora Bora experience. To expect resort amenities is ridiculous and against the magic of this place. We woke up daily in heaven: walked right on our private beach and had coffee on the dock bungalow, paddle boarded, enjoyed slowness, showered outdoor. Ps Mosquitos bite like hell but we survived. Worth it

Close to the ferry dock, we can walk there The terrace with the pontoon is very nice as well as the pool We were able to use the kayaks and it was very nice. The person who welcomed us in Amina's absence gave us all the useful and very nice information. Possibility to eat nearby and a convenience store nearby as well I would recommend the listing

Temaeva is an incredible host. From check in to check out, she was super effiicient, helpful and proactively reached out to fix our issues learning the resources in Nuka Hiva. The bungalow was exactly as described, centrally located and well maintained. The total lodging experience was just awesome
