Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Frederick County

We just wrapped up a girls weekend at The Grand Atelier and I can’t say enough great things about the house! It was right in the heart of Frederick and walking distance to everything. The house was AMAZING!! It is meticulously kept and Christen went above and beyond to add special touches throughout the house. There are super cute little signs everywhere, everything you need for your stay is basically there (linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, fully stocked kitchen equipment, and so so much more!). The house is SOO charming with a little vintage vibe but fully updated everything. Christen’s communication is off the charts and she typically responds within a few minutes. She was so helpful and provided the best pre arrival note and day after check in note. We ran out of time to enjoy the pergola, but it sure was pretty! Definitely check this place out :)

We stayed at Victoria’s place overnight for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Beautiful place and we wish we could have stayed to enjoy it more! We had an infant with us and Victoria provided a crib which was so helpful. She was so responsive and helpful and the place was lovely and super close to downtown Frederick! Would love to stay again next time we are in Frederick! Highly recommend!

Such an amazing home. We truly enjoyed our stay. So well stocked with amenities and items we needed throughout the weekend. The space was private which we enjoyed but not too far away from local things like Dunkin or stores nearby. Thank you so much for letting us use your space. Would definitely stay again!

This home in the rolling hills of Middletown was what my parents, husband I needed for a trip back to our hometown for a family wedding. Comfortable, clean home with a great kitchen. All the appliances I needed to prepare our meals. Lots of room in the lower level too. Close to restaurants in Middletown and easy access to Frederick and beyond. Highly recommend this home.

Gus and Lexi were great. They were very responsive to any of our needs. They were clear and flexible with a couple of changes to our plans. I would recommend them and their place!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

Logan’s house was a perfect stay for me. I stayed here the night before my wedding and Chris and his team were so fantastic to work with, were very flexible with my check in and check out time, and were so thoughtful in leaving me a personal note and gift for my wedding. It was a perfect location for me and my bridesmaids to do hair and makeup and the house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Frederick!

The best Airbnb we have stayed at in Frederick. Absolutely beautiful location and very private. The house was impeccable. A very inviting space as well. The decor made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I was in town for a wedding and she let me drop off my luggage early. Very considerate. Clean, simple, and safe place to stay. I enjoyed the chocolate she left for me! I will definitely consider renting with her again.

Vlasta and Doug are amazing hosts, they were very attentive to us. I can't describe enough the wonderful experience I had at this place. It is quiet, cozy, and it truly feels like home. P.S. If you love animals there is a big plus, their pets are adorable.

This was the coolest old apartment! I loved it. The location is perfect. my daughter was graduating from Hood College and she wanted to show me all the cool places they would hang out downtown. We didn't have to drive at all. Everything was within walking distance. The green door was awesome. it was wonderful to shop the boutique also. This was the perfect stay. it was actually pretty quiet even though it was on the main drag.

We had a wonderful stay from May 2nd to May 11th with our three young children. Communication with the host was excellent—always quick, friendly, and helpful. The listing was exactly as described: clean, well-equipped, and suitable for families with small children. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for five people. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden by the river, a peaceful spot to relax. The location is quiet but also ideal for exploring the area, even for day trips to Washington, D.C. Overall, this is a perfect place for families looking for a nice and nature-close stay with great accessibility. We would love to come back!

We loved our week’s stay in this historic downtown apartment. It has been beautifully restored/redone! Stairs up to apartment above the shop are not steep at all and have a sweet landing looking out to a courtyard garden. Felt like arriving somewhere very special. The beds were SO comfortable with lovely soft sheets and comforters. And there was even a study/reading room overlooking the courtyard, too. Kitchen was well-supplied and all brand new. Cool new bathroom shower. Fridge had ice+water on door, ahhhh. Location was highly effective for us; we only used our car twice in whole time there! Perfect area for strolling, eating and Christmas shopping. And fun Irish pub nearby! Thank you for the fun memories, Leigh Anne, including your marvelous shop! Hope to return in the new year.

Joe really exceeded expectation. He didnt make me pay more for switching to the bigger more private cabin in the back of the property. He told me he built it with his father, which made my stay feel special and I really appreciated all of the attention to detail and rich offerings inside and around the patio. Ivan (doggo) especially loved his stay, and made full use of the backyards space to explore its smells and scenery. And unforgettable time, really Charlie & Ivan :D

We had a great time in Frederick - we used it as a homebase for trips to Baltimore and DC. It worked out well, and we were surprised at how much Frederick had to offer. There were several good restaurants and nice grocery stores nearby. The area has a rich local history and a great historic district with fun shopping and very walkable. We enjoyed the arcade setup for some evening downtime. Good curtains and a comfortable bed helped to get some much-needed rest. We would stay here again if returning to the area.
