Beautiful views!!! Comfortable beds !!!! Will stay again.

This was really a beautiful place, it is looked brand new inside and they had a great amount of supplies, everything you would need for a great stay. We gathered in the family room, loved the huge kitchen and high end appliances, and really enjoyed the hut tub, fire pit, pool table, and views. Just a super place at the top of the hill. We stayed for my wife's 60th birthday and had a great experience.

My wife and I stayed for an anniversary get away. The house and the surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed a peaceful evening on the deck. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The small details made the difference compared to other properties. For example, the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen had measuring cups. The re were small battery powered lanterns that were great at night. The path to the fire pit was lined with solar powered lights. All the small details matched the description of luxurious. We loved watching the wind on the water, turtles sunning themselves, jumping fish, frog songs and blue heron tiptoeing through the water.

This was exactly what we were looking for-a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view and mountain feel on our way to Savannah to visit family. The weather was perfect for one of the days, and the other day it was rainy and foggy, but we spent that day going to Ruby Falls. It cleared up in the afternoon. We spent evenings around the fire pit in which wood was provided and we brought our own outdoor chairs that were more comfortable than the benches provided. We also grilled out using the grill on the property, and there were plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. Everything was just as pictured. All in all, a wonderful getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Fred, our host.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

This is our second visit to Austin home once again a great place to stay lots of things to do at this home, from the golf cart to the kayaks ping pong pool table and volleyball if you’re bored your not doing it right! With a great way to relax in the hot tub!

A great scenic stay for a quick night. We had our poodle pup with us and was perfect in the woods camp with other cabins, several cabins have a shower ours did not but it was fun glamping by the fireside at night and played life-size chess before breakfast :) Would stay here again!

Fiancé an I wanted a private get away, had eveything we needed, amazing view, nice to wake up to the birds chirping.

A trip I’ll remember forever! We went to Sewanee for my brothers graduation from the University of the South. The house was beautiful. Wood interior, lush woods surrounding the property. We fished on the pond and there is even a kayak and a Targer grill where we cooked most dinners! The kitchen is STOCKED - better than any other rental I’ve used. The owners also paid attention to details and have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, make up removing washcloths, toothbrush, laundry detergent, and more! The property owners are incredibly responsive and as sweet as can be! I have ZERO negative things to say. The price was a bit steep in my experience with AirBnB but we were so happy with the trip anyways! The University was an easy drive and we weren’t ready to come home!

This cabin was great for our purposes and we had a wonderful time. The land is beautiful, the cabin is pristine, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to do a lot of cooking. These are just a few notes for future guests: 1. Kayaks: Just to make it clear for future guests, not all the canoes and kayaks advertised in the photos can be found on the property. We found three kayaks total, one of which was very dirty and unkempt. 2. The listing advertises that the cabin sleeps 8 total, including a couch and an air mattress. We were at full capacity and needed to use both the couch and the air mattress, but there was no bedding to be found for the air mattress. We made due with what we had, but I do believe bedding for the air mattress should be included if the air mattress is to be counted as an eighth “bed.” All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this cabin. Just wanted to include these notes for future guests.

Cynthia was so nice to allow us to check in early! She greeted us personally and treated us with a special bag of baked goods! We also loved being within walking distance to the Fiery Gizzard trail. An overall wonderful experience!

Nice little spot to getaway from the world for a few days. Quiet except for at dusk when the frogs in the pond really let you know that they rule the property. Between dusk and 10 pm they are very vocal. We enjoyed our stay

we stayed in the Eco Container home. It was really cool. Our power went out from a bad thunderstorm storm but that was no problem because the container home was equipped with a solar powered battery back up. The location was very nice, remote but easy to find and just 10 minutes from town. Millers waterfall was beautiful and serene. Check out was very personal. We shared hiking stories and other stories of the property. I love this place. I would recommend to anyone who loves hiking and nature or just a place to relax and get away from the rat race.

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the cabin we also enjoyed the waterfalls at surrounding trails we went for our one year anniversary and they put us up a happy anniversary sign not wife adored it we will definitely be looking forward to to going back again thanks so much for the amazing weekend

Fantastic place to stay with great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks and fire pit. This cabin is a lovely private getaway. Koren was proactive and communicative throughout the whole process. We would 100% stay here again.

This was a great place to stay in Sewanee. We were in town for a wedding, and Susan’s place was really convenient, basically walking distance from everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

It was a beautiful cabin that was conveniently located to three lakes that we fished. Everything we needed was located inside the cabin and we had complete privacy outside.M there was also an overhang to completely park and cover my boat I would stay there again

We have had multiple stays with Ray and Deb and it’s always been a wonderful experience. They are great hosts. The cabin is always clean and perfect for a short getaway

We had a wonderful weekend! The place was spotless! Once you are inside you are surrounded by trees and nature and it feels very secluded. The cabin had plenty of space and comfortable seating options. Very close to a boat ramp, Tims Ford Lake and the Elk River. The Curly Willow is a fun little antique store with reasonable prices and the farmers market in Winchester had great produce! One of our favorite vacations!

I have stayed in Cabin 111 several times - it’s ALWAYS clean and comfortable. The host responds immediately to any questions. It’s in a perfect location in Sewanee - walkable to any university building and to downtown restaurants and shops.
