Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Formigny La Bataille

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Perfect location with great facilities. Great explanation of the apartment and excellent suggestions for meals and sightseeing. The apartment was clean and welcoming with everything we needed. So close to lots of lovely shopping areas, restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. Highly recommend this apartment.

We had a great stay at Vincent’s place. He met us there and was very friendly, showed us around and provided good local recommendations. We really liked the galette restaurant opposite the Tapestry. Thanks Vincent! It really is the perfect location to explore Bayeux and the main centre and the Tapestry are 5 minutes walk away, although the Tapestry shuts in September for renovation work. We will come again and do some cycling next time, it really is that nice a place to stay.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Logement superbement bien placé, proche de tous commerces et restaurants mais également des sites historiques de la région. Il est encore plus spacieux que nous le pensions, et la vue sur le port et la plage est exceptionnelle. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour d'une semaine ici !

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

Anthony est un très bon hôte! Il a toujours répondu rapidement à mes questions, autant avant que pendant le voyage. L'appartement était idéalement situé, à distance de marche de beaucoup d'attraits et restaurants. Tout était très propre et bien équipé!

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

Erinomainen majoitus. Sopii erityisesti perheille, kaksi tilavaa makuuhuonetta. Talo on erittäin laadukas, puhdas, kaikki on uutta ja toimivaa. Sopii rauhalliseksi tukikohdaksi josta on hyvä tehdä retkiä ympäristöön. Todellinen löytö!

Great location if you are driving and want to visit the Normandy beaches. The house is exceptional and the kitchen facilities are superb. Will definitely be back.

Simply beautiful. The view and the location of Arnaud’s place are second to none. We were immediately comfortable and felt at home. It is well cared for and clean. Arnaud made sure the home was heated for our arrival and even had the windows cleaned especially for us, as winter weather can impact them. We had a few questions and Arnaud responded with efficient answers and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

This house was the perfect accommodation for family of 5. We were able to spread out, and have some privacy (with room to spare.) Loic was responsive and helpful. The house itself and the linens were very clean. The location was very quiet, beautiful, and somewhat walkable. Definitely walkable to Omaha beach, however without renting a car you’d be stranded with no means to go anywhere else. The area is very secluded with no reliable Ubers. All amenities including dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. I would definitely book this accommodation again! Recommendations : There were no mirrors in any of the bedrooms, only the bathrooms. Would be helpful to add mirrors to the bedrooms. Additionally, the night stands in one of the twin bedrooms had a light, but no cord attached to it to make it functional.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze fijne woning. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig: van een goed uitgeruste keuken tot comfortabele bedden (2 aparte en 1 tweepersoonsbed). De tuin is echt een pareltje – groot, mooi aangelegd en uitstekend onderhouden. Dominique en Sylvie zijn ontzettend vriendelijke en gastvrije hosts, die altijd klaarstaan als je iets nodig hebt. De locatie is ook top: supermarkten, bakker en diverse bezienswaardigheden zijn allemaal op korte afstand. Kortom: een perfect verblijf gehad, we komen hier graag nog eens terug!

I loved this place ! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable -- especially the bed. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, including the train station. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The pickup spot for the bus tours to the Normandy beaches are just around the corner, as is the Tapestry Museum. The location is just perfect. There are some steep stairs getting up to the front door and within the apartment itself, so someone with mobility issues might have problems, but other than that, this apartment is a 10\10 for me !

appartement extrêmement bien situé et agréable à vivre

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

En front de mer génial avec des enfants , plage devant la baie de la loggia, vue sublime , stationnement facile, résidence sécurisée avec bip portail. Apt fonctionnel, très bien agencé, de l ‘espace, gros plus la loggia fermée qui s ouvre entièrement . Yasmina à l arrivée comme au départ très souple et de bon conseil. Hôtes sympathiques et très disponibles . A 5mn de Cabourg et 15mn de Houlgate, facile d accès pr visiter la cote fleurie comme les sites du débarquement. Nous vs recommandons sans hésitation . Cdlt. We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!
