The Garden Room Retreat: Affordable Studio Getaway

ORIRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Margie and Stan were exceptional hosts. We didn't have a chance to interact with them much but any time we did, they were both very warm and kind. There is a lot of care and heart put into their place and it felt special to come back to after a day of exploring Olympic or the local area. There's an impressive amount of detail that I haven't seen many other places - instructions for all appliances, labels making things easier to find and even physical menus of local restaurants with helpful notes on a some of them to name a few. The view is gorgeous, from the mountains to the garden right outside - the pictures looked nice to begin with but still exceeded our expectations! The amount of light the room gets is great and they also had nice blinds if we wanted even more privacy. We're already hoping to stay here again the next time we see Olympic!

Karen was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth and enjoyable visit. From offering great local recommendations to quickly answering any questions I had, their help made a real difference. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, especially with Dungeness Wildlife Refuge so close by.

Olympic Haven

AudreyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This place is in a great location about 5 mins from the entrance to Olympic and also a quick drive to the small downtown area. The host listed a lot of restaurant and activity recommendations which was helpful because we have never been to the area before. A nice bonus was the washer and dryer, especially after several days of hiking. I also loved the electric fireplace that provided us with a nice cozy atmosphere. The Airbnb shares a wall with the host as it is part of their home but still felt very private. The neighborhood also appeared to be safe and quiet. I Would definitely recommend this listing for anyone staying in Port Angeles or exploring Olympic and the surrounding areas.

The Dragonfly Gem in Dungeness (No cleaning fee)

KeirenRating, 5 starstoday
Dennis's place completely exceeded my expectations. It was such a soft, sweet, peaceful place to land in Sequim. The space had all the comforts and amenities you might need for a comfortable stay, and even including some toiletries you may have forgotten in packing for your trip. I enjoyed sitting in the sun on the front stairs, eating breakfast, and admiring all the birds. Another bonus is that a plant nursery is next door and in the morning (not too early!) they play some soft classical music for the plants, and if you have the kitchen window you might just hear it too. I felt very welcomed and that whatever I needed was just a phone call away. A true gem in the shadows of the Olympics.

Cozy and Clean Holiday Stay -Unit A

SydneyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Was a lovely stay for my friend and I. Might have felt a little cramped with more people but was perfect for us! Walkable to downtown if you want but we decided to drive after long hiking days. It was clean and had almost everything we needed. Laundry was a plus! Some of the blinds were missing poles to close but was easy to close without.

This was the perfect stay for our family adventure to Olympic National Park! The house was perfectly clean, spacious, and comfortable. Elyse communicated well and responded promptly. Trailhead Casa - Hidden Gem on Discovery Trail

HollyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was a great find. Lovely setting, well equipped house , comfy beds , beautiful surroundings. Great front porch.. close to Port Angeles, but in the country. The house appears to be brand new, Sarah was a great host .. very responsive to our needs. The only caveat is that one of the bedrooms is really small, a double bed but not much room on either side of it. The other room is really large with a king size bed so if you have two couples, you might have to fight over the rooms! But it suited our needs just fine We found some great spots to visit, one is the Spruce Railroad trail along Lake Crescent . and the other is Ediz Hook peninsula just west of Port Angeles of course there’s always Hurricane Ridge We ate at Traylors one night and thought the food was really good. I had fish and chips and the blackberry cobbler.. first rate food and the restaurant is really close.

House

JulieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This home was spacious and very clean. The decor is attractive and welcoming. Our family of five adults was very comfortable. We appreciated the heating system in each room, so individuals could adjust as needed. The home is conveniently situated within walking distance to a grocery, outfitter, and hardware store, as well as Pacific Pizza (which was totally delicious). The surrounding area, although an RV / trailer park, was quiet and peaceful. The house is centrally located for visiting beaches and Olympic National Park. Jason was quick to respond and informative. If we visit this area again we would definitely stay here and would strongly recommend to others.

Madrona Cottage

BrodyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The cottage was great. The lake was peaceful being tucked away and was very beautiful. The hosts were easy to communicate with and all of the amenities (fire pit, hot tub, etc.) were as listed. It also allowed great access to Hurricane Ridge and some of the northwestern parts of Olympic National Park. The only downside is that it can be a bit awkward/less private if the adjoining cottage is filled. Be prepared to share the fire pit and the kayaks. Also, some of the appliances and cooking utensils are older which could make cooking more difficult but is also part of the remote charm. Overall, great experience! I’d book this place again!

Lakefront Cottage

MonicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was a perfect cozy place for 2 people. The location is perfect for outdoor adventures in the Olympic National Park (Marymere Falls and Sol Duc Falls and Hot Springs), not too far from the coast where we visited Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach, close to Lake Crescent Lodge and Granny's for dining, and just 20 minutes to Port Angeles for more dining options. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities - kayaks, fire pit, hot tub, and comfy chairs on the patio. I'd love to come back with extended family and rent more of the units in the area. It would be perfect for a group to spend time together outside but each have their own unit to retreat to. The bed was very comfy and the small but well equipped kitchen was great. Loved it!

Best vacation stay!! The pictures don’t even do it justice!! The location is absolutely perfect!! Being right on the water and you get the sunset ahhh it was amazing!! They have all the things!! Super clean, so many cozy blankets!!! Cool basement space, we got to use the canoe, and the swimming hole was the best part! The lake is so clear and way better than lake Crescent in our opinion for swimming and doing activities on the water. We couldn’t get our kids to leave the swimming hole. Highlyyyy recommend!!
