Funku's are unique traditional round-houses of Caldeiras, built with natural stone . and these are the only ones modified for guests. Inside comfy and with private bathroom, a staircase outside leading to the round and shadowed terrace overlooking the new lava-fields and the Pico. We are a family, and children (playground), couples of any kind, singles, pets and so on, are all welcome.

The rainwater is collected to fuel the well and the water used is recycled and reused to water the plants and flush the toilets. Electricity comes from solar panels and we have water heated by a solar water heater. Unlimited wifi is available. EcoFunco is the ideal place to discover Chã das Caldeiras and a starting point for hiking.

We have two rooms adapted to accommodate 6 people, a restaurant and three terraces where you can enjoy breathtaking views. (The rent is per room, if you want separate rooms, you have to indicate this information when you make the reservation) If you like hiking, you have several routes to take and can climb up to the Cha Das Caldeiras area.
