She comes and goes through her own cat door and demands little from two-legged people. She has, like most cats, a peculiar personality and thrives best in her own company. The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

There are many hiking opportunities; Storehesten, Lisjehesten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunities, swimming in the fjord or in mountain lakes. Enjoy the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of the Birdbox. Cozy, close to nature and peaceful. Lay down and sleep right beside nature and the amazing surroundings. Welcome to a cozy and undisturbed cabin on Kalvåg. Fire up the hot tub and enjoy a hot bath outdoors. Here you can fish your own dinner from the fresh water around the cabin, or walk 3 minutes and throw out the line in the sea. Enjoy lovely evenings in peace and quiet around the campfire or take a paddle ride with the kayak or SUP board with associated life jackets that belong to the cabin. 5 km from the cabin you will find Kalvåg city center with grocery store, restaurant and other activities.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. There is a folder in house with information, description and maps of the different hikes, trips and activities).

Here you can enjoy a rural setting with a short distance to the hiking trails for the mountains, relax on the terrace, fishing, or take a walk on Folkestadsetra with good swimming and barbecue possibilities. If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps.
