Family-friendly vacation rentals in Flåm

We have stayed in Bergrid's house for two days and enjoyed it very much. It is in a quite area, looking out over one of the inlets of the Hardangerfjord. There is a nice waterfall close by. With good weather you have good places to enjoy outside. Stores and restaurants are a bit further away, so get some supplies when you're on the way. The house itself has everything you need and there is sufficient privacy. You do hear some walking going on the higher floor, but not on an annoying level. We do recommend to stay here!

Great location down by the Hardangerfjord. About 3 km to Lofthus. Perfekt place to stay in nice weather, with sun loungers down on the pier by the fjord, and available kayaks and rowboats. The family was lovely and very helpful. We had a lovely time in great weather. The apartment Livingroom/bedroom is quite small and best for someone who shares the bed. I slept at the sofa and it wasn’t the most comfortable.

Marta’s apartment was great for a couple of nights in Voss. The space was comfy and bigger than expected and we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We would happily stay here again!

Definitely one of my most beautiful homes rented on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, the kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of anonymous lockboxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

We stayed at Ole's house for two nights as a family. It was fairly convenient for us to explore nearby tourist attractions. House offers all you expect and some more. Feels cozy to have a warm stove while resting in the evenings.

What a cute, comfortable, and absolutely clean place! We requested last minute and he responded right away, we were so happy to have a comfortable safe place to stay for the night.

Good apartment to stay at if you want to stay in the area to hike Trolltunga or do something else. Apartment is old but super clean and it has everything you need to stay a few days. Also, it’s super central in Odda. Roxana communication was super good! Can recommend!

Four of us stayed at this lovely house during our vacation in Norway. We chose Sogndal because it was a nice midpoint for several places we wanted to visit (Flam, Laerdal, Boyabreen and Loen). The area is unbelievably gorgeous and Sogndal is a nice town that has all the amenities you might want (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) vs. some of the smaller towns in the area. Eirik's house was lovely. The best part was the gorgeous view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and cozy. Eirik was always very responsive to any questions I had both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

A great place to stay and a great host =) we had a wonderful week in the house, and even if the weather didn't always cooperate, we were able to enjoy the time. Steinar is great - always available, short-term suggestions depending on the weather and always very helpful. We will be happy to come back =)

We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a lovely place to stay, beautifully furnished and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and you have everything you need. The location is also very beautiful! Vivian and Richard were wonderful hosts: very helpful, extremely nice and still discreet.

We loved staying at this charming house. The house is right on the water and placed in a small town with a little grocery store and delicious restaurant (have to try the brown cheese). We were also a drive away from many of the neighboring cities, with a lot of goat sightings on the drive in. Cannot recommend this place more!

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious enough for five people, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to allow us to cook great meals and a large dining table provided ample space for us to enjoy memorable meals together. Fantastic view of the fjord. Synnove was exceptionally responsive to our requests the entire week. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

The house is located in a great area for hiking. We enjoyed beautiful panoramas and were able to relax fully in the jacuzzi and sauna. Highly recommended place if you want to escape the big crowds of tourists. Be aware the jacuzzi is for an additional charge and you need to prepare your own bed. We didn't mind these things and enjoyed our stay very much!

A fantastic house just by the fjord, very well kept with excellent views. However you will need a car to get to the house as it is out of the city centre but it is really worth the drive to the house to chill out for a few days. The house is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen and a large veranda that overlooks the fjord. Amazing place & I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Forde. Absolutely beautiful and modern mountain cabin. Cozy and with lots of amenities. Peaceful birch forest out the back windows, and incredible scenic views of the lake and ski area out the large front windows. Right beside a fun network of trails for hiking and biking. Would love to return some day.

Well equipted house, superb location – a very good experience at Arild‘s place. Owner is very easy to get in contact with, any issue is solved at the same minute :) 100% recommend for the one’s who will look at the place to rent in Førde !!!!!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

One super spot for a weekend getaway to Uvdal! Has everything you need, in addition to the trails that are 5 meters from the door. Both the jacuzzi and sauna were a draw for us. Good communication with quick and friendly responses :) A weekend trip here can be recommended!
