Bud & Vivian's cottage surpassed our expectations! The peaceful, relaxing decor and landscaping made us feel immediately at home. Bud and Vivian were very kind and thoughtful wonderful hosts. I got this Airbnb for friends coming into Vancouver where I live from Missouri. You definitely need a rental car as this location is in a residential neighborhood. They said it was quiet and peaceful enough for them. However, there are no restaurants, grocery stores or other stores in the immediate neighborhood. For those from out of town and flying into and out of Portland you have to allow for rush hour traffic depending on the arrival and departure of your flights. It can be either a 20 minute drive or 40 minute drive depending on rush hour traffic. Our friends said that the place was immauclate and had all the necessary items that one would expect from a Airbnb. They also said they would stay here again when returning to Vancouver for a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and in a peaceful setting. We brought our dog along, and he absolutely loved the enclosed backyard — it was perfect for him to run around safely. Susan was incredibly kind and responsive throughout. Highly recommend staying here — we’d love to return in the future!
