In-Law Suite in the Beating Heart of Fishtown

Sit back on the Montauk sofa to watch Netflix and HBO Go on the Smart TV. There's also a Sonos sound system for crystal-clear audio. In the bedroom, an Ecobee thermostat and bed with Casper mattress and down pillows ensure comfort at all times. We just finished fully renovating our 100 year old row home and created a beautiful in-law/guest suite on the ground floor that is perfect for a quick weekend trip to the city, or a month long stay. The house is located a couple of blocks from various critically acclaimed restaurants, bars and shops in the heart of Fishtown. Master suite has a Casper® mattress and down pillows. There is also plenty of space for you to unpack. The living room has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge, electronic water heater, French press and Tea pot. (Please note, there is no stove top) The Smart TV comes with access to Netflix and HBO go + Apple TV® The sofa pulls out to a queen size bed. Upon request a high chair and pack and play are available as well as toys for kids. For full disclosure we live above the unit with two kids (2 and 6). From time to time you will hear light steps. The in-law suite has a separate entrance and can be completely closed off from the rest of the house. We are available via text or chat throughout your stay and will great you upon arrival. The house is 3 blocks away from one of Fishtown's most happening streets, full of hip restaurants, fashion boutiques, and trendy bars, plus the train to downtown. Recommendations include the flagship La Colombe, Cheu Noodle, Suraya and Weckerly's. The Girard stop on the El is a 5 min. walk from the house. That train will get you downtown in 5-10 mins. Uber/Lyft are also readily available in our neighborhood and we use them all the time. If it's a pretty day and you enjoy a walk, we are a little less than 2 miles from Old City. You can either walk along the Deleware River or through the heart of Northern Liberties. If you come with a car, street parking is available.

The street was very quiet and we felt safe walking there in the evening. The house is set up nicely for a couple. The patio area was an extra bonus for the evening with comfortable couch and fireplace. We visit Philadelphia frequently and we will stay with Stacie again if her place is available.
