Vacation rentals with lake access in Fingal

Had a wonderful few days staying here. House is lovely and really peaceful and comfortable. We hired a car and so were able to get to loads of really amazing spots but also enjoyed walking around the local area and down to the lake. Would definitely recommend!

I don't even know how to start, 5 stars for the rating are not enough here, you would have to be able to give 1000 stars, our stay with Nikki and Niall was so wonderful. To get there: The accommodation is easy to find by following the directions, we were allowed to leave our suitcases there before check-in. The accommodation: Simply fantastic. We had a double room with a super comfortable bed and an en-suite bathroom. The entire house is so beautifully decorated, small details make it special – you feel at home. Everything is very clean. There are several bus stops directly in front of the accommodation, from there you can easily start your day trips. And now to Nikki and Niall: You don't often meet people who are so nice, open-minded, loving and helpful. We also got to know Niall's sister, an equally wonderful person as Nikki and Niall. I arrived by motorbike in the late afternoon after a long day riding. The weather was glorious with great views of the Blessington lakes. I found the cottage easily in the Heritage village of Ballyknockan famous for its houses and cottages built from the local granite. A unique location! The keys were in the door. Felt right at home. Clean and tidy. Welcome basket.. Met Theseen's mum Elaine and dad Terence. A family of stonemasons. You won't find friendlier neighbours. Helpful. Had a walk up to the old and once very famous granite quarry for the sunset! Was leaving early in the morning after a good rest. Recommended !

Staying at Jim's was like being at home. His home is cozy and welcoming, Jim and his wife were very kind and affectionate to us and also to our child. The room and the bathroom are comfortable and very clean. A big thank you to Jim and his wife for their hospitality!!!!

Had a great stay at this beautiful location. Isabel was quick to respond at all times and had so many great tips for the area. Couldn’t have asked for a better host and the home had everything I needed.

Great hosts and interesting accommodations. Lots to do outside in the summer, more limited in the summer but still beautiful place for walking and exploring. Great place for a Christmas family get together

what lovely stay. this place was perfect and i cant wait to come back. the place was well appointed and cozy. perfect for my spouse and our best friends. we ran into one small problem with the washer and Eilis popped right over and got it sorted. the estate is lovely and peaceful. 10/10. will come again.

A lovely peaceful place to stay. Easy to find and flexible check-in. Everything feels new and very clean. Kitchen is well-equipped and there is a big table in the main sitting area which offers plenty of room to sit and eat but is also appropriate for anyone who might want to walk. It’s not an easy walk to shops or bars (more because no footpaths than because of distance) but it’s a short trip in a car to various nice villages and we felt very welcomed in all of them. Beds were comfortable, curtains were quite light which means you may need an eye mask if you are sensitive to light and are there in mid summer, but we all slept very well though and loved the peace and quiet.

Beautiful view over the lake from the living room. Spacious and very clean house. Bedroom is beautiful and very good bed. Very nice and tasty welcome package. Hannah and Gerry were very welcoming and helpful in giving tips for exploring the area. Quick and attentive response if needed. In short, a very nice stay in this beautiful suite.

This was a very spacious cottage in a beautiful setting. We were quite comfortable here for three nights and it was an easy commute to Dublin & Howth. The cottage had everything we needed and Sean was responsive to my questions regarding public transportation. My only regret is I didn’t get to enjoy the lovely grounds as we were out all day sightseeing and returned late each evening.

We had a wonderful stay at the coach house in Valleymount. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable with everything you need. There is thought put into this house as an airbnb. The beautiful garden backs onto Blessington Lake, where we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the water’s edge, such a scenic and relaxing spot. The coach house is next to the main house but you feel like you are in a private space, sitting outside at the benches with a cup of tea relaxing after a day of touring was ideal. The location was ideal for exploring Wicklow. Highlights for us were Mount Usher Gardens, the Ballinastoe Boardwalk through the woods, and the incredible Avondale Beyond the Trees. We also took a trip into Dublin for some shopping. There were plenty of lovely places to eat nearby, especially in Hollywood and Blessington. A perfect base for both relaxing and exploring highly recommended. The host is friendly and welcoming.

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

It was so beautiful! It’s a great wilderness escape to wind down and relax.

Lovely cottage we used as a base to explore the Wicklow Mountains for a few days. Hosts were friendly and flexible with check in. The gardens around are beautiful to wake up to in the morning.

Stayed here multiple times now, always a great stay. Had an issue with the hot water and a plumber was there within 12 hours and the problem was sorted which we were very impressed with.
