Lanesboro Irish Ridge Retreat

DanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This is the second consecutive year we have stayed here. All four couples enjoyed the large, open concept living/dining space and the private, comfortable beds and bathrooms. The guys enjoyed playing pool one night. Highly recommended! Kristi was very quick to respond to our requests.
The front of the house is depicted, showcasing a single-story structure with a pitched roof. A simple walkway leads to the white front door, flanked by two windows. The exterior features light-colored siding and a well-maintained lawn, providing a welcoming entrance.

Lanesboro House

This was even better in person than the pictures! The location makes it within walking distance to anything you would want to do. The house has great outside space and plenty of room for everyone inside. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all necessary items for our stay. We will definitely love to stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Doc's Trailside Bungalow

MasonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you are planning to bike the route river in it entirety or just to Lanesboro or Houston this is the place for you. He even has a garage for your bikes and you are literally right on the trail. I love vacation spots that are walkable and have high amounts of bike infrastructure. Plus Root River was amazingly clear and very pretty as well!

Bluff Country Farmhouse with a View

Bethany RoseRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We loved staying here! It can be difficult finding a good place to stay when traveling with three generations, so we were really happy to find this place. It's an old farmhouse, and we loved it. Beautiful area with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. And Bruce and Kristie are extremely responsive - they're the sort of hosts who go the extra mile. We'd definitely like to stay here again!

Rolling Acres

MeghannRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had an extended stay in this home due to some very tragic circumstances with our own home. It was truly a blessing during one of the hardest things we have encountered in life this far. We are locals but still were blown away by the beautiful views and amazing sunrises and sunsets. It was peaceful, close to dear friends, and felt like a home during our time there. If you are looking for a spot in the Driftless area that showcases the true beauty this area has to offer, this is it!

Trout Creek Cabin

Angel Samolytz & AaronRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Trout Creek Cabin was such a magical place! Nestled along a serene creek off a quiet country road about 20 min from Lanesboro, we loved our morning coffee on the deck enjoying the multitude of songbirds. The cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend to escape the noise of people and fully relax in nature, but with comfy amenities and a glorious whirlpool under the stars! Suzette, Andrew, & Mindy thought of all the personal touches from a nice coffee/tea assortment, a bottle of wine, bathrobes, spongy slippers, little label signs - and much more! We loved the design and colors of the house throughout, and a lovely deck to take in all the nature! Day trips to Lanesboro were not a long drive as the countryside is spectacular, just takes about 20 mins. We hope to be back and maybe we’ll bring our son next time.
A log-sided home features an inviting entrance with a covered porch and comfortable seating. The walkway, bordered by landscaped stones and bushes, leads to large windows that reveal the surrounding natural scenery.

Modern Cabin on 28 acres of Valley Views and ponds

DianeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Leslie’s home is comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The bathrooms are very clean and have beautiful touches—like the wood framed mirror on the main floor. The bedrooms are comfortable and have many unique features including lovely furnishings. But the most memorable part of this home is the surrounding grounds with ponds and trees and wildlife. The location is terrific since it is just off the bike trail and fishing streams and parks are nearby. The small towns surrounding it are interesting and people are friendly.

Knotty Pine Cabin #3 | Lanesboro

KariRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This teeny tiny cabin was perfect for us, as we didn't plan on spending a lot of time indoors. We loved the old time cabin feel. It's just a short walk to the dam and downtown that has restaurants and shopping. The Root River bike trail is the reason we came to Lanesboro. Alayna has a safe place to lock your bikes when not riding. There is no TV so just unplug and enjoy your time in this quaint beautiful town.

The Valley

JasonRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This gem is tucked away in a gorgeous area. It's very spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and barbeque alot. The hot water only worked in the very downstairs shower and the master bathroom after letting it run for 20 minutes. So this was inconvenient for our guests. The wall alarm kept beeping every other minute, so that was very annoying and kept people from being able to sleep. The owner did communicate very well and had the alarm company call us and gave us a work around but only lasted a few hours and then continued to beep. There is a killer fire pit area out back, but no wood supplied for it. We hunted, gathered and collected lots of would on the property and bought alot, and left alot, for the next people. There are no ceilings in the upstairs 3 rooms including the master so privacy is limited. There is one room on the main for that has a ceiling and more private but no bathroom. All and all this mansion/cabin is amazing, well supplied and very cool.
