On the Sea. A cozy bunky with double bed .. a large window and glass door looking at our cliffside with a private little porch. Off the porch is a sink with running water, but as part of the compound all amenities are available incl full washroom. We are located conveniently on the Southern Shore, close enough to St. John's, Petty Harbour, Ferryland, Trepassy and even St. Vincent for day excursions. The BUNKY is located next to the Cabin, Barn and Teepee on the property.

A wonderful weekend in a beautiful area with friendly locals. Secluded, peaceful, bright & cozy, and with everything you could possibly need at your finger tips - 'The Birdhouse' has it all. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or winding down at the end of each day, the beautiful view of the ocean through/a top the trees was so relaxing. Being able to bring our fury family member who enjoys a 'get away' as much as us is always greatly appreciated. Thank you to our hosts. Definitely hope to return. Dion & Wanda

Incredible! The place was amazing! It was exactly as described. Scott was there to meet us when we arrived. He provided local recommendations and the place was perfect. The location was beautiful right on the waters edge and the home was equipped with everything we needed to make our trip perfect. I would recommend this rental to anyone who is looking to relax and disconnect for a few days. Scott provided an added bonus of fresh local back goods when we arrived and home made ice-cream. This place is a must stay! We can’t thank Scott enough for being an amazing host for our incredible week away.

What an amazing host. She was able to help me find places to shop and walk the dogs. The property is spacious and I was able to explore the back forest with with dogs. Although small, that is one of the things that makes this beautiful escape so cozy. Everything about this place is awesome.

Amazing cabin overlooking the ocean! One of a kind! Feels really cozy and John makes sure that you are also having a good time. I would come back here and stay again soon ! It could be a little difficult to find on map but if you have your maps downloaded (as the network there is bad) it should not be a problem!

LOVED ! LOVED the place It was a 2 day stay and boy the view from the balcony was just jaw dropping. Lucky you if you watched the sunrise while you're sipping coffee ! Cleanliness 5/5 Privacy 5/5 Everything available 5/5 There's an easy 5/10 minutes walk to the stunning east coast trail. Loved everything about the place PERIOD !!
