Apartment with a dream view of the Karawanken, in fine weather all the way to Slovenia. Newly renovated bathroom with underfloor heating for cozy warmth, in the kitchen fine wood stove for heating. In the middle of the Gurktal in a small village with some hiking and biking routes nearby. Within 10 minutes there is the shopping town of Feldkirchen with many possibilities. Within a very short time you can get to various lakes such as Wörthersee, Ossiacher See and Goggausee.

Despite the initial difficulties we had a wonderful stay. Riff is a generous host, and easy to communicate with, problems were promptly addressed and quickly solved. The place itself is magical, the emptiness of the village that others found spooky actually was uplifting for us, and the quietness and the beauty of the mountains offered perfect immersion and winding down. The house is lovely and cosy, the upper store is a child’s dream - my son enjoyed it immensely. We are regulars to the area, know the neighboring ski-resort very well and beside skiing we enjoyed the local cuisine very much, or sometimes just grabbed a pizza from the village down in the valley. Brilliant Airbnb long-stay experience. We stayed for 3 weeks in this stunning spacious and private self-contained apartment and the place is a perfect combination of feeling hidden away and isolated in the wilderness while everything including supermarkets, shops and restaurants, are just a few minutes drive away. The bath is huge and with a skylight allowing you to enjoy a bubble bath while looking at the sky. High speed reliable internet allowed effortless remote work including videos calls and streaming. A huge range of sushi is available daily at the SPAR just down the road.The hosts who were present on the premises in the lower floor of the house during the duration of our stay were very discrete and privacy-respecting . Definitely booking again.
