Our accommodation is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You will love our Lydi hut because of its location, because of the little that is more, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My accommodation is good for couples, single travelers, families (with children) and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located on the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is very tiny residential development with about 10 houses. Pure idyll.

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn.
