Cabin with annex, fantastic views, good sun conditions

Great cottage yard in relaxing surroundings with stunning views of fjords and mountains. Nice hiking trails right from the cabin door, and with 5-20 min by car you will find both sandy beach, fantastic ski slopes and a variety of mountain peaks in magnificent nature. There are very good sun conditions on the plot, and with little light pollution in the area there are great chances to see the northern lights in winter. From the parking lot at RV80 there is about 900 m to walk along the footpath and forest road in small natural terrain.

Resting heart rate with views and insight

Relax with the whole family in this little oasis. Short distance from the city (Bodø) with great opportunities for hiking, fishing or just enjoying the views and observing the wildlife. Good with space for children, with amazing climbing trees and several natural playgrounds. There is electricity and summer water, urinal and incineration toilet. Drinking water is to be brought, but we make sure that there are several liters available upon arrival. However, please note that there is no shower here. Parking a short walk from the cabin.

Welcome to a pleasant stay in this apartment in the middle of the winter adventure Sulitjelma. What can you do here? Take a trip to the alpine slope in Sulitjelma Fjellandsby. Ski equipment can be rented. Feel free to visit the Mining Museum and experience Sulitjelma's unique history as a mining and industrial community. How about a trip to Jakobsbakken, an old mining village in the high mountains? Or just take advantage of the unique lighting conditions and explore the starry sky and the northern lights? The possibilities are many.

Access by boat in summer to the jetty located 50m below the cabin. Ski/snowmobile in winter. Simple standard with 1 double bed + bunk bed. Loft over living room with 2 beds. Electricity, summer water to terrace. Shower facilities in wood-fired sauna. Mspa jacuzzi on bathhouse stairs. Fire pit on terrace with beautiful view.

The cabin is easily accessible by highway 80, between Bodø and Fauske. Beautiful view of the fjord. Kitchen, bathroom and electricity. Sunny balcony. 5 minute drive to the swimming area. Fantastic hiking area in summer and winter. Fishing, berry picking, mushroom picking, local food. 10 min to Valnesfjord, with grocery store, cafe, etc. 20 min to Fauske. 35 min to Bodø. Saltstraumen, National Parks, Caves, Museums, Shopping. The cabin is under renovation and available from June 1, 2026. Interior images are coming!

Newly renovated Nordland house on a small farm in Nordland. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet with amazing mountains, chickens in the yard and horses in the field. We have NORTHERN LIGHTS on clear winter nights (from September to March) and normally a lot of snow in winter! The house is centrally located about 1 km from the store/train and bus/dining place, but at the same time there are countless hiking areas both on foot and on skis in the nearby area. The apartment has a king size bed and a 120 cm bed. A cot can be added if needed. Setså is located in the middle of the towns of Fauske and Rognan, and 6.8 miles from Bodø, and 6.3 miles from Saltstraumen. Setså is a natural starting point for seeing the sights of Salten and all its history, including the Blood Road Museum, the war cemetery in Botn, the exit to the former mining community in Sulitjelma, or just a few nights of peace and quiet before you move on to the next destination.

There is a short walk, but it is worth the 25-45 minute trip.
