Our project to make use of leftover logs turned into a tiny house! Cozy Log Cabin looking out on almost an acre of nature but just minutes from all the DC sites. Perfect for a single escape, a romantic getaway, a small family/group gathering, or a serene remote work location. 1/4 mile to bus and 1.5 miles to DC metro, plenty of free parking. We live in a log home next door - so happy to provide advice on sites/restaurants and directions. No smoking, candles, puffing, pets, or parties allowed.

Shirley's place is a fantastic little find. Pristine, spacious, welcoming. Great host. Only stayed one night so couldn't explore locally but saw several nice places to eat and ship at on my drive in. An approx 20 min drive from major DC attractions. Great neighborhood!

Very comfortable and easy to communicate with Claire! Just like the photos. Extremely beautiful, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood. Couch and largest bed extremely comfortable. Loved being here. For accessibility, there's a fully paved walkway from the driveway to basement entrance, just a few wide stairs with a very solid handrail. Well lit. Bathroom is two toilet rooms adjoining a central shower room (all connected with pocket doors). You walk through the daybed room to reach the common spaces.

Renovated Bright Oasis w/ Garage and Yard

This house is a great find - it has everything you need to feel right at home and the house and yard are beautiful. The house is extremely well appointed and well stocked. The common area furniture and beds are very comfortable. The gas fireplace was perfect for cool spring nights. The back yard porch was a great place to hang out with comfy furniture, 2 grills, sun umbrellas and a gas fire pit. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. Diana is one of THE BEST Airbnb or Vrbo hosts that we have ever had. She was very responsive, knowledgable, friendly and detail oriented. My wife left her glasses and she mailed them to us overnight. The location is excellent - the neighborhood is peaceful, but very close to the town center stores and activities. Falls Church has a small town feel but is close to all of the attractions of the Wash DC metro area. The house comfortably accommodated me, my wife, our son and grandparents; one-level living was great for grandparents.

Went solo to DC for my girls Spring break, hubby was working. Needless to say, I was nervous. I am so glad I got to stay at their place, the family is warm and welcoming. Their girls and lovable doodle joon played with ours while I was unpacking. I couldn’t believe that I forget pull ups for my youngest, they kindly offered some of their own but due to skin allergies I was forced on a late night grocery store run. It was so close! Like a 5min drive, AND it was a *wegmans*!!!! Dude loved the space -huge! Plus books, toys, and snacks for my girls. All in all an excellent trip! Will stay there again when heading back

Eric was a fantastic host—responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the little touches that made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
