We adapted the architecture to insert it in a natural and graceful way on the extremely sloping terrain, resulting in a duplex with the two rooms on the lower floor, both with a spectacular view of the sea, the island of São Jorge and a wonderful sunrise. Its sumptuous balcony that includes stone barbecue has an unobstructed and stunning view of the entire island of São Jorge, the beautiful canal and a garden.Upstairs, dazzle yourself again and enjoy a drink in lounge chairs or outdoor dining with unsurpassed views. The interior space, in open space style , is cozy and comfortable. As if that were not enough, there is an additional treat: on the left-hand side of the porch, a sunset like a Hollywood movie, so perfect that it looks like a mirage. Beautiful lava house in an area where there were stone animal pens which gave it its name. It offers breath-taking views: the entire island of São Jorge and the canal, in front, and, on the left, undulating bays of parishes on the beautiful north coast of Pico. Birds and sea waves are heard. You can dine inside in a modern rustic open spacestyle living / dining room, or outdoors, while enjoying the view of an absolutely sublime sunset and a completely starred sky. Quinta do Caminho da Igreja TER1 (Farmhouse)

Traditional country house on São Jorge Island, built 100 years ago by our great-grandparents, it was at that time a small house and haystack, where they kept the animals that worked in the fields. It is located a few meters from the sea in an absolutely quiet location. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, hiking, and swimming in the sea.
