We loved our stay! Len and Shannon are incredible hosts! Every sunset from the deck was perfect! Having the convenience store below was also nice for grabbing a snack. We wish we could have stayed longer! I would highly recommend the stay! A++++++++++++++

Great for a group/family weekend getaway. Erin and Aryn are very hospitable hosts and provided all the essentials. Everything in the kitchen and all the light switches are clearly labeled, making it easy to navigate.

This was our family's second stay at The River House. We had another relaxing and fun week! Kayaking across to the state park is one of our favorite things to do there. We also enjoy shopping and eating in Leonardtown. We had one rainy day, but reading on the day bed with a beautiful view (in spite of the weather) and working on a puzzle were an enjoyable way to spend the day. We hiked out to Calvert Cliffs State Park one day and enjoyed lunch on Solomons Island on the way back. John's pet friendly Airbnb is such an awesome place to vacation with our dogs. One of them loves to fetch her floating stick off the little beach area and play frisbee in the yard (bring a long leash that you can tie to the badminton net poles). Our other dog loves basking in the sun in the yard and on the deck. There are so many great things about this place, but the sunsets alone are worth the stay!

What a gem of a place! So cute and cozy. A great location! Loved all the natural light that came in through the big windows. Everything was so clean yet very comfortable. Enjoyed walking the beach. Found sharks teeth and sea glass! Such a great surprise to find such treasures! Lisa was so very kind and accommodating. Appreciated the extras like coffee, bottled water, shampoo etc and she brought some wood for a cozy fire. They really worked hard at making our stay very comfortable. Definitely will be coming back. But plan on a longer stay because there is so much more in the area to check out!

This was a fantastic vacation rental- the kids’ favorite yet! You can’t beat the views and the proximity to the beach and shops. There is also a playground, library, ice cream shop, and pizza just a block away. The host had snacks, water, and milk available for us and the kids when we arrived, which was very welcome after a long car ride! And having beach chairs and beach umbrellas for use made our beach days so much better! We brought our paddle board and launched it off the local beach which was quite fun. Annapolis and DC are both far drive and, when we weren’t enjoying the local amenities, we found plenty to do just an hour drive or less away. I highly recommend this rental. Our stay was great. The house is located in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The views are amazing. The house is very comfortable and so relaxing. Loved that three bedrooms each had a bathroom. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive.

Wonderful host—I felt right at home. Had conversation prior to arrival and felt like I knew her very well before arriving. The view was spectacular I could have just sat on the patio and watched the woods and water all day. Was there for a school reunion so I had other activities that I had scheduled. This was by far, the best Air B&B experience I have had. Fantastic host, comfortable, and stunning scenery. I am going to try and revisit soon.

Wow.. where do I start? I have a strict heart healthy diet. Only whole grain products with no dairy, meat, nuts, and oil. Brenda communicated well before the start to make sure her special dinner and breakfast dishes met my requirements. Brenda did a magnificent job. Not were the meals outstanding, the setting for her air b&b is perfect. The Northern Neck is a special place in Virginia. Staying at Brenda’s “Perfect View” in the Northern Neck was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

This is a family friendly place to stay with little ones! Lois did a great job at making sure we had what we needed for the little ones, including baby gates, a pac n play and a high chair!

Easthaven is a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Something to do for everyone, indoors and outdoors. Really nice to have the SUP and kayaks available, as well as the crab pots. So many thoughtful touches, probably the most well stocked home we’ve stayed in. Definitely hope to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had ample space for our group of 8. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessities to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the big couch in the living room. If it wasn't so cold we would have loved spending time on the large back deck or sitting down by the lake.

We found Paul’s home very comfortable and accommodating. Paul was accessible when we reached out to him and he communicated well with us. It was a very nice location with a fantastic view of the bay, as we hoped for.

When I first found this apartment on Airbnb, it seemed almost too good to be true. I thought there was a catch! The pictures online don’t do it Justice at all. The apartment is gorgeous in person and the view is breathtaking. Waking up to the view felt like I was away on a private island or something. Kim is the most thoughtful, fun host. She provided us with all the information we needed and responded to our questions promptly. The apartment was not only tidy but also comfortable. The kitchen contains everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom and balcony are clean and light. The location was incredible. Kim had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Kim for such a wonderful time! We will definitely be back.

STAY HERE NOW!! Absolutely amazing! This spacious dream house was everything we hoped for and more. We hosted a lovely family dinner and still had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. All amenities that you will need! The host’s communication was excellent—responsive, helpful, and kind. Honestly, we never wanted to leave. Stay here now before it’s booked—this place is a gem!

The house is beautiful and very large. Three families with kids had plenty of room to spread out. The views are just as pictured and the finishes were all high end. As we knew from the listing, the pool was right on the deck with no fence, and this was stressful with our younger kids (as were the stairs). This wasn't a surprise but something to keep in mind if you're traveling with small kids. As another review pointed out the house feels out of place in the neighborhood. Melanie was very responsive and helpful and we had a great trip.

We loved our mini vacation at Darrell’s. The home had everything one would need and it’s located in a quiet, private area with plenty to do. And one can’t not mention the friendly neighbors and beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back again. Thank you for hosting us!

Gwen’s peaceful waterfront retreat was truly just that—peaceful and relaxing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Gwen was a gracious and responsive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The property was filled with thoughtful touches and amenities that made our visit incredibly comfortable: a charming gazebo dining area, outdoor kitchen, a coffee bar, fresh flowers (such a lovely touch!), and more. The beds and bedding were comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, with access to a private beach area that made the whole experience feel extra special. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible dock experience—sitting right on the water, surrounded by nature, with comfortable chairs perfectly placed to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon sun, or stunning sunsets. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene waterfront setting!

It was a great stay and a perfect location for our quick family back east. It was very comfortable, clean and a the right size for our family of 4. It was nice to have our own place to stay and not to far from our family. We didn’t spend much time in the town but it looked cute with shops, cafes and restaurants. Had a great weekend at Ryan's place. Ryan sent a pretty comprehensive guide once we booked with instructions that were clear how to get into the property, what was available, and how to use all the amenities which was very helpful. This was one of the most well-stocked airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous and we loved spending every minute outside. Highly recommend and would re-book again.

Karen was very quick to respond to our questions. The house was lovely. There were canoes, kayaks and water boards for the family to use. Baby pool for the kids. Fishing and crabbing was great entertainment for all. Kitchen well stocked with anything you needed.

This was a cute little home to stay at over the weekend. Only downside was having to pay for beach access. But the house itself was very nice and had all the kitchen items we needed. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful long weekend here! The house is well-equipped and David was even able to secure fishing and crabbing gear so our two kids could try to catch dinner. It is a quiet street of cottages with friendly neighbors in a gorgeous location - the view is so calming. We enjoyed exploring the local area (love the coffee shop and brewery in Montross), kayaking, swimming, and relaxing on the big screened porch. A feature here that you don’t always have at the shore is a great sandy beach! Can’t wait to come back for another getaway.
