Adam and Nicole's house is wonderful! Great view, spacious, and so clean. We all felt very comfortable and cozy. Great amenities, and a nice deck that unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy because of the rainy weather! Still, we enjoyed our stay and didn't let the rain dampen our spirits. Hosts were both very responsive, no issues with check in. Highly recommend if you're looking for something off the beaten path and quiet, but close enough to restaurants and sight-seeing. Thumbs up for sure!

Loved staying here! You can hear the river from the front door, it’s cozy and clean, and very comfortable! Would stay again!

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

One of the nicest houses that I’ve ever stayed at! Some friends and I had an incredible night sitting by the fire, and then a perfect morning making some breakfast in the incredible kitchen. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough!

Beautiful old New England farmhouse, remodeled to be comfortable and modern but still retain its character. Nice kitchen - able to bake a birthday cake with one grandchild and lasagne with another. Particularly enjoyed the art throughout the house!

Book this place immediately if you’re looking for a relaxing family stay, situated minutes from gorgeous beaches with swimming lakes and want to spend evenings bbqing and looking at the incredible view. Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

My sister and I were interested in a spending very relaxing weekend in a cozy setting where we could unplug and recharge from the stresses of our every day lives and this place really fit the bill. The setting is lovey and the antique home is filled with charm. We were lucky enough to choose a peak foliage weekend and the views out of the enormous windows were breathtaking. The area itself is also filled with New England charm and lots of places to explore. It all went by too fast but the weekend was exactly what we needed. Out hosts were wonderful. We had absolutely everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying with them in the very private space attached to their home. We definitely plan to stay again!

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

A beautiful cozy place in a quiet green area. Everything was clean and well organized, comfortable bed, good pressure and temperature in the shower. Nice little kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely recommend 😊

Everything was as described and there was such attention to detail to make the apartment feel like home--from homemade cookies at check-in and all the needed kitchen amenities to extra towels and tissues and the AC left on for arrival on a hot day. I highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short drive to the main drag in Stowe, which made it super convenient to grab coffee in the mornings or enjoy dinner at one of the many great restaurants nearby. We initially booked because of its proximity to other areas we love to explore, and it didn’t disappoint. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. One of the biggest highlights was the view—absolutely breathtaking and a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. And we can’t forget the hot tub! After long hikes in the mountains, soaking in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located stay in Stowe. We’ll definitely be back!

The Place was absolutely gorgeous. Extremely private and secluded cabin right by the river where u can hear the river flowing from indoors, the inside is clean and well setup where everything is easy to find. The only slightly annoying part was the walk back to the cabin from the outdoor shower would end up redirtying my feet because there’s no path but other than that it’s a great location and great place. Definitely worth it and I definitely would go again.

Easy drive from Boston. What I loved most about the cabin is that it is cozy and had an indoor fire option. It rained all weekend, but the cabin was so cozy! We had no qualms about sitting in the hot tub under the rain, and spending the evening in front of the wood burning stove as the rain pattered on. So close to restaurants in South Royalton!

A perfect getaway! My husband and I had such a relaxing time at this beautiful cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, the space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Every little detail made it feel like home. Ashleigh was an incredible host, providing helpful information and even checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of our favorite moments was unwinding in the hot tub, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. During our stay, an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in, and sitting on the screened-in front porch with a cup of coffee, watching the rain, was an unexpectedly serene experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat, and we will definitely be back!

This was a great and peaceful place for my girlfriend and I to spend some time away from home. The house was amazing, Agnes was prepared for everything and gave us more than enough information about everything regarding the house, town, and safety. We would 100% come back and highly suggest this place!

Super cute area, definitely an authentic rural Vermont stay. Made us feel right at home in the nature. Outhouse made for an interesting new experience, but overall great get away.
