This comfortable rural house is located in the village of Lindoso, in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, Alto Minho region. The village of Lindoso is well known for its Medieval Castle and one of the largest clusters of typical granite granaries (”espigueiros”). This is an old stone house next to an old water mill. Both have been rebuilt in harmony with the traditional architecture of the region. It is an invitation to enjoy the peace and the landscapes of the rural environment. Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.
