Cosy house in beautiful small village

KathyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic stay in Selatrad! If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful environment, don't look any further. Despite it's remote location, we also found it to be a great base of operations for our day trips to various spots along the Faroe Islands, given its central position. The house has everything you need and more, and provided a cosy place to relax after long days of hiking and discovering. Everything was clean, the check-in process was flawless and our hosts responded quickly when we had any questions. So in summary: we have very fond memories of our stay here and will try to return some day. Highly recommended!

Cozy little apartment on Selatrað

SandraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really cozy apartment in a nice and quite surrounding overlooking the fjord. We had everything we needed and the apartment gets warm quickly with the heating. You just have to be aware that it is quite a drive to get to the spots because the cute little town is at the far end of a road but everything isn’t far on the Faroe.

the Mountain cottage

IrinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a great time on Faroes. In the middle of the value, surrounded by mountains, sheeps and peace. Sweet house with all the equipment you may need. We drove to the very end with our toyota crossover, and during the rain it was slightly fun to climb up, but doable. Not sure if a small car can manage this. Big thanks to Lis for arranging our stay!
A dining area features a long wooden table surrounded by chairs, where guests are enjoying a meal. Natural light filters through a large window adorned with plants. Soft seating lines one wall, complemented by warm lighting and decorative elements, enhancing the space's welcoming ambiance.

The little corner

The room at Lilja's was small but very sufficient for my use. The sink in the bedroom was a plus. Bus stop is 2 minutes by foot. Limja was a very welcoming host with whom I felt welcomed. and cherry on the cake, the hearty breakfast was included in the room!
A modern log house is set against a backdrop of rolling hills, its dark-hued exterior showcasing large windows that invite natural light. A rocky pathway leads to the entrance, with grassy areas surrounding the structure, providing an inviting contrast to the building's sleek design.

Gøtugjógv Log House, Private room 2, ocean view

Paulina’s place was the perfect way to end my first trip to the Faroe Islands. The views are spectacular especially during sunrise which I was lucky to witness. The space is very clean and has all the amenities you need to make a simple breakfast. She had an info book with great local recommendations. It’s helpful to allow extra time in the morning as the bathroom is shared with 3 rooms so you may have to wait a few mins for your turn. Everyone was very respectful and quiet. It was a very peaceful stay. Added bonus is there is a spa and jacuzzi on site to reserve for an additional fee. It’s well worth it as it’s outside with amazing views! The location is also convenient for accessing the eastern islands. I did Kalsoy and Vidoy and was so happy to have such a short drive back at the end of the night. Thank you for a memorable and lovely stay!!

Tyril's Warm Valley Welcome

The place was good, clean and you feel comfortable, the only thing I can complain about, there was no way to watch Netflix, TV does not support it, too old, please change something, otherwise highly recommended.
