What you'll do

Guests will have the opportunity to be guided from the city center to the surrounding hills so as to see Bologna in an uncommon way. We'll have quiet walks in the nature of the hills and beautiful views on the city together. I'll show what we'll meet along the path and describe the related stories to let guests feel absorbed in a new reality.
An overview of the territory of Bologna without having to move too far from the city center.

I'm a big passionate of walking. I always propound slowness as a key to really discover new places. I studied and worked in the forestry field and I believe in sharing knowledge and finding beauty in order to fall in love with our land and protect it.
Let foreign people see the wondrous peculiarities of our environments from unusual points of view always gives me high satisfaction.
I'm a certified hiking guide.

Where you'll be

We'll pass through the typical landscape of Bologna hills, along vineyards, meadows interrupted by old fruit trees, wooded areas. We'll reach places of historical interest like the Sanctuary of the Madonna of San Luca, or the religious complex of San Michele in Bosco, or the Hermitage of Ronzano, the Park of Villa Spada and Villa Ghigi, the Park of the Chiusa, of Forte Bandiera or the Park of the Bologna gypsum and gullies of the Abbadessa.

We loved our hike with Enrica. She is passionate about nature and about Bologna and she conveys it all along the way. We learned a lot about Bologna and about the specific sites (San Luca, the portico, etc). A wonderful day and a wonderful hike. Thank you so much, Enrica, and best wishes on your exams!

Enrica was amazing. She had first hand knowledge of the area and route and was able to convey that knowledge very effectively. Her route took you away from tourists to a large extend and felt like a genuine off the beaten track experience. I high recommend.

It was a wonderful experience to explore the surroundings of Bologna and to gain new perspectives on the city. The great thing about it was to be able to walk away from the city and into nature. Enrica is a very good guide, knows her way around and knows interesting things about the landscape but also about the history of the city. I can warmly recommend this hike.

Enrica showed us a beautiful hike into the Bolognan hills before making our way to the Sanctuary. Views up there were breathtaking. This is something I would’ve never been able to do on my own. She was kind and friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the Bolognan landscape, geography, plant and wildlife. I learned so much on our hike. She also took her time and went at our pace, which we were very grateful for. Would recommend this to anyone spending a few days in Bologna. Would definitely do it again. Thanks Enrica!
