What you'll do

Starting very close to Campo de' Fiori, we will enjoy together a relaxing bike trip to reach the natural landscape of Parco Della Caffarella (Caffarella Park). Along the path we will visit famous Roman monuments using less crowded, but perfect for photos, roads. We will pedal through the historical Jewish neighborhood (called "ghetto"), the Foro Boario, the Circus Maximum, the Caracalla Ancient Thermal Baths and one of the most beautiful and preserved ancient roman walls and door. Between archeology and nature we will arrive in the Caffarella Park, a vast natural landscape of 180 hectares of rivers, beautiful fields, mountain bike pathways as well as Roman ruins. Here we will enjoy a tasty and typical Italian picnic with local products. Then, on the way back, we will have the best organic gelato in Rome at my favorite place. This is an exclusive small group tour (max 2/3 people) away from the crowd. You will deep dive in the local culture and learn from a local about Rome. The bike tour will be relaxing, with no rush and mostly on cycle paths.
Other things to note

Our bike tour with Jennyfer was incredible! We saw some well known monuments, but what was most special was getting to see and experience some of the lesser known, hidden gems of Rome. She packed us all lunches of homemade lasagna and frittata and some other local foods, all of which were delicious. She had plenty of history and passion to share. I would highly recommend this for a unique Roman experience!

A great bikingtrip with an engaging guide with genuine interest in history also outside the guide books with small stories, a great cook of traditional Italian food that we got to eat outside in a big nice park. A different and great way to see parts of Rome you would not otherwise experience. Highly recommended!

Jennyfer was amazing! The tour she gave showed us so much of Rome that we never would have seen and didn’t even know about. What made the tour special though was Jennyfer’s attention to detail, care, and passion. It says that lunch is provided. What it doesn’t say is that jennyfer is an amazing cook and you will have the best eggplant parmigiana in Rome, homemade! We also loved that everything she picked out was organic, min season, local and had a story behind it. As an example, the cheese was chosen because it came from the area that was affected by an earthquake, she wanted the best cheese for us but also wanted to support that community. The tour was very thought out and organized, from the well planned water/bathroom breaks, nicely made bikes, the organic fresh gelato place, to the beautiful picnic set up. All was planned and went smoothly! We can’t think of one thing we would have changed. Just perfect!

We were looking for something a little different to do in Rome rather than all the touristic sights and Jennifer’s tour really met our expectations. We cycled through a lesser known part of the city and out into the park. On the way Jennifer stopped and explained about different things we saw. I loved the ancient gatehouse into the city and the city wall. The picnic was delicious and consisted of lots of local delicacies - we especially enjoyed the roasted olives! Thank you Jennifer for a great day out, this is highly recommended.
