What you'll do

Come book a flight into the culinary world of Africa, Caribbean, and South America. The menus are wonderfully crafted fusions to create bold flavor, texture and taste. It's a great way to learn how to cook plant-based global cuisine while at the same time discovering and enjoying regional food traditions, culture, history and warmth. The experience includes an appetizer social to warm up the palate and a compilation of world music guaranteed to lift your spirits. Enjoy recommended pairings of Artisan Wines, Craft Beers & Mixed Drinks that can be purchased at the BXCR Wine Bar, our underground wine society authentically outfitted in a 1920's vintage railroad boxcar. Class will finish with a shared dining experience. Guests will arrive at the Historic Anaheim Packing House. A walkable culinary collection of over 50 artisans. So incorporate some SOUL (Seasonal, Organic, Urban, Local) foods into your diet. Make plant-based culinary adventure a major part of your trip!

For over 25 years I have traveled the beautiful culinary regions of Africa, Caribbean & South America. There's nothing better than a well-balanced cultural experience to pair with a home-style cooked meal made from locally sourced produce vendors.

Where you'll be

Located in the historic Anaheim Packing District on the ground floor of the Anaheim Packing House. Hesspea Plant-Based Cooking is easily accessed thru the north entry, down the steps to a private entry near the Box Car Wine Bar & Cooks Chapel. The Packing District is a popular place with hipsters, foodies and live music. So it gets crowded. Recommend valet parking $5.00. Self-parking is available.
