Captain Jack is back in the winter as well!!! We are going to have so much fun! In December is the start of the most amazing and beautiful festival in the world. The Amsterdam Light Festival. You will be witnessing a couple of the most talented artists playing with light in the most Unique way. A whole mesmerizing tale will be told through unique Artists eyes. The city will be in a Christmas carol surrounding, with all the beautiful buildings illuminated, and beautifully decorated. And if father winter spreads his white arms, you will literally be going through a most amazing winter wonderland. It is a 75 minutes cruise. No more tickets or in need of a private cruise? Contact me with a DM! We will be witnessing all the beautiful artworks from a unique boat, and I will tell you about all the artworks myself. Each year a new theme will be carefully be chosen. The themes always have a socially, locally or environmental character. This year the theme is: "Disrupt" Disturbance lies at the heart of the exhibition of the eighth edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival. Artists, designers, and architects were challenged to question, test and shake up Amsterdam in alignment with this year’s theme: Disrupt!

Hi Guys, for those who don't know me already. I am the "best" captain of the canals of Amsterdam. With sometimes the most beautiful white landscapes, amazing light decorations and all the landmarks look like they are from a fairytale.

Where you'll be

Starting from a very central location. Right in front of the Central Station at the Sea Palace (address: Oosterdokskade 8) we will start our journey into the festival. You will see the more than 20 artworks that the festival will bring. But will also see, the Amstel river, skinnybridge, the Amsterdam ZOO, Entrepotdok, Old Harbor, Maritime museum, The old Amsterdam, Nemo museum and so much more.

More tips

Weather conditions in wintertime can be cold and wet. The boat will have a cover, but is not heated. We have blankets. There is no toilet on the boat! The cover is in most of the time sufficient to have a great experience. But possibility exists that visibility can be limited due rain
