What you'll do

We will meet close to the Porta al Prato Florence train station. I will then take you to a 500 year old wine cellar to taste the best Tuscan wines and learn the secrets of wine making. Afterwards I will take you to my own farm where i make olive oil and wine to have lunch and taste local cheese. At the end I can show you my vines and then take you back to the Porta al Prato train station in Florence, where I picked you up.

I live in the hills surrounding Florence, and every day I go into the fields to work my grapevines and make Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil. I also love riding my motorcycle.
I run this experience with the help of my friends and co-hosts Leo, Anita and a few others, since my English is not perfect.

Where you'll be

I will take you trough the typical Chianti hills just outside of Florence.
You will get to see some of Tuscanies medieval cities and 1000 year old castles, as well as my own farm which is 300 years old.

We had a wonderful day with both Leo and Robbie! We met easily at the pick up point (they were there ahead of time) and although we had a full day it went so quickly! A perfect balance of finding out about how wines are made alongside amazing views, food and wine and such knowledge passed on about tasting wines - highly recommended to anyone who is considering booking this. Topped off with a great group for the day - thank you so much!

This trip was a tremendous experience, the knowledge shown was excellent and I felt that everyone went out of their way to be welcoming and hospitable. There was lovely food at Roberto’s farm and he and his assistants were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help me personally. I would recommend this trip highly and I wish Roberto every success in the future. Penny

Incredible! If you don't know much about wine or Italy, I would recommend this. If you think you know Italy and your wines, I'd still recommend this experience highly. The food , the people, the location and of course the wine are all small ingredients that sum up this amazing experience. Hats off to the hosts too who were both kind and welcoming. They say the best experiences in life are those you would consider going on again - well this is certainly one of them! Ian

Roberto is very nice host and thanks to him we've visited and tasted true Tuscany. Our experience was diversified, we visited medieval vinery and found out how vine is made, then we came to Roberto's house and tasted delitious food and wine and in the end we met Roberto’s friend who showed us his vinery and let taste like dozen of his wines inside of his house. We spoke about Italian culture in general and about Tuscany quizine, it was very interesting and we loved the whole experience!
