What you'll do
Did you know cacao trees take the flavors of the environment? So, if you taste real single origin chocolate, you can taste a hint of fruit, like pear, or nuts.
Let me amaze you with the real and pure tastes of our single origin chocolates! A bar of single origin chocolate from the Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil has a unique taste, as well as our single origin bars from the island of Grenada, Papua, Congo, Vietnam, etc. Make a small journey around the world with me!
In my workspace next to the shop I make chocolates every day. I love to let you taste many of my chocolates! I make chocolates with different spices, like clove, black pepper, cardemom and chili. But also work with caramel (yes, I have salty caramel!), fruit and nuts like the exotic Kenari nut.
Ofcourse I have glasses of water ready for you to take in between all the chocolate tasting and would like to give you something to take back home!
Please note:
- the toilet is unfortunately not accessible for guests
- there is no real seating, the tasting will be organized around a standing table.
- my shop is located in the old city center, also known as the Red Light District, it might not be suitable for young children
Other things to note
Allergy-info: none of my chocolates is guaranteed to be nut-free. For my home made chocolates I use coconut oil, fruits and nuts.
I have many vegan/dairy-free and also some sugar-free (100% cacao).

I make delicious chocolates! Together with my husband I've worked in the old city center of Amsterdam for the past 6+ years. Besides making chocolate I love to tell people about our beautiful home town and how it is connected to chocolate & spices.
I am also a private guide in Amsterdam and so, during the tasting, will passionaly tell about Amsterdam, the old city center/red light district and chocolate.
We are very active in the neighborhood and are the initiators of a famous street art project in our alley (will tell you more about it!).
I would love to welcome you in my shop!

Amazing chocolate tasting extravaganza for our final hours in Amsterdam. Great mix of both worldwide interesting chocolates and self made delicacies. Without spoiling anything I can guarantee you have not had chocolates like some of these before! Just make sure you don't eat too much before as the servings are generous :)

A wonderful experience. Even as a Dutchman myself I have learned so much. The location is great. The shop is cosy. And the chocolate tasting experience was fantastic. We’ve tried things we’ve never imagined we would. Salomé is so knowledgeable about the chocolate she sources and makes herself. Whilst Ian bridged the sessions with great background regarding the location.
It is a really fun thing to do whilst in Amsterdam. Us as a family of four (two children) thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’m not going to spoil the surprises, but Salomé and Ian definitely know how to make this fun.
