What you'll do

Want to explore the Rocky Mtns but don't know where to go?

Beginners to advanced, all levels are welcome. We will do a 2-4 hour hike in the Rocky Mountains within a 1 hour drive from Denver. We will meet at a coffee shop 20 mins drive west of downtown and will carpool to the trailhead. We'll go hiking in the mountains, connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take as many photos as you'd like and send them to you at the end of the hike. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch at a unique cafe after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail.
The hike will be easy to moderate for people in good physical shape, but it can be challenging for people who do not exercise regularly. The hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but you are welcome to drive if you have one. Minimum group size is 2 hikers. Private and corporate groups are welcome, we can cater the experience to your preferences. Check out photos on Instagram at @hikingintherockies. We look forward to hiking with you!

Such an amazing time. Robin was awesome. We met at the coffee shop and from there we begin our trip. We followed robin to the hiking location from the coffee shop. Robin was clear and honest from the start. She told us stories and gave us information about the hike. I will tell you as someone how does not hike at all. This was so much fun. There was 3 times I needed to stop as well as the others in the group and robin was very respectful and considerate to allow us to catch a breath. A tip. Wear wear wear hiking boots. I am so glad I did! At first I thought ohhhh I’ll be fine in my nikes. Nope. Not today. Wear hiking boots that are water proof and good for snow. The views once the fog went away were amazing!!! Plus just getting out and going walking with someone that knows the area was welllll worth it. The amazing time and conversations were the cherry on top. As someone that has never been hiking and doesn’t know the area. I 100% agree you reading this should book this. I feel more comfortable and will for sure rebook!!!! Side note. During the hike Robin told us about 5 senses and what people used to do and still do to this day. We picked a sense and spent a full minute just relaxing. This made me feel so much better!!!!

Robin was the best host anyone could ask for. She worked with how we walked the hike and kept up with our pace. Extremely friendly and highly recommended for anyone visiting the Denver area.

Rose was our tour guide and I can honestly say I left with a sense of comfort and friendship. She was super cool and knowledgeable about the area. Gave use plenty of break for us newbies .lol she brought us snacks and was the best person ever . She made it special to me and I will always be able to look back and say “we made snow ball and snow angels for Lidia” . I would highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Only two of us on the tour, with Kevin as our guide, and left feeling like I'd been on a hike with friends. Kevin was really knowledgeable about the surroundings and we had some really interesting discussions from politics to feminism to our favourite trees! Overall fantastic experience and would definitely recommend!
