What you'll do

We will hike, river trek, and climb small waterfalls during the first portion of our adventure. Our goal will be to reach the top of the El Salto Waterfall through a beautiful and natural trail. Once at the top, we will set up to rappel down this amazing 80-foot waterfall using secured ropes. Once we make our way down the cascade, we'll exit the forest by zip lining and hiking downriver. After this full-body workout, we will enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, hosted and served by the Figueroa family.

This was an awesome experience. I’ve done a lot of hiking and some zip lining, but nothing like this. The hike up to the waterfall is almost entirely in a stream, so make sure you have sturdy shoes and clothes that can get wet. Diego and his team were really helpful and serious about safety. The rappel down the waterfall was a lot of fun. The zip lines weren’t long, but were a fun addition to the whole excursion.

We loved it! BE PREPARED though because it is an intense hike through mud, water, and the rainforest. Worth it if you like the outdoors and adventure!!

This experience was awesome! Maybe one of the best experiences of my life! I went solo but the other people in my group were welcoming and the guides were great and very knowledgeable. It is quite the adventure and not for the faint of heart! Bring water and snacks in a small backpack. Waterfalls, hiking, rappelling, zip-lines, and tasty homemade food! What more could you want! Highly recommend. I will say though that if you see you are the only person signed up for a date, you might want to reach out to them or consider picking a different date. I was contacted just the day before about that not being enough people, which makes sense. It ended up working for me to go that day.

I cannot insist that you go on this excursion enough with Diego and his crew. Whether you are an outdoorsy person, thrill seeker, or complete novice, they provide an amazing, personal, fun experience for all. They are highly professional safety experts and accommodating friends. I've been rock climbing before but the location they've got is truly special. They even recommended a rock climbing company to me for another time on my trip in PR! I felt like I made friends with them and with the people on the trip with me (I did this experience solo). Even the rain couldn't bring the good vibes down (it's a rain forest expect rain btw; you're hiking in a river but any closed-toe good traction shoe you are willing to dry out properly will work). You're gonna get a good work out and need your wits about you!! At the end the meal was a perfect and very welcome conclusion to a truly unique time. I'd do it again too. Just do it!!!
